The sentence "We are now not only considering 67 points but also the overall potentialities of applicants" is is completely ambiguous. The next line "Now visa officer should be fully satisfied with the applicants' documents rather than point scoring." clears the ambiguity.

If you say the next line that "Now visa officer should be fully satisfied with the applicants' documents rather than point scoring" clears the ambiguity then its nothing new as visa officers before also needed to be satisfied with applicants documents rather than point scoring. Only that potentialities thing is a new thing and carries some weight.

Basically he is trying to confuse people by going left, right and not telling the exact thing. Waiting for him to post rejection letter.

Dear all I think this News seems to be just a splinter aired by many people like Nector from time to time ,Canada has a very good record of fundamental human rights,they are simply best in preserving people rights ,they will never divest someone on the basis of this base-less thing ,if they had to do it all they could have told this to people in advance i.e before applying,now even if they have removed  few NOCs at the moment, they still need those people with deleted NOCs ,remember they had removed these NOCs for their futuristic planning i.e inoder to keep the balance of job demand and supply in balance,

dont get panic and worried I gurantee you that this News is nothing to do with NOC,yes there is a chance of rejection on the basis of points,eg many of us even are confused at calculating their academic points ,I even miscalculated my points till my 1st AOR ,later on I managed to improve my score/points through IELTS,many people in pakistan consider their MBBS,Engineering degrees to be awarding them 22 points which they actually miscalculate ,the situation gets clear when at vo stage they get rejected,similarly many counts thei spouse points to be 3 from FA/Fsc. which is again a wrong calculation on their part ,
If i get rejected that will be because of the points factors ,NOCs in demand or out of demand have nothing to do with these things ,and lastly VO assesses each case on first come first serve basis ,the cases with too many complications take longer time as compared to a case with simplicity and straightforwardness,

sir I think they do so just to share some News which actually has nothing to do with reality ,when such people are asked to produce the source ,they cannt provide  it because they actually donnt have such source,its just a publicity stunt,
we people are connected to this forum to share our own experiences of immigration or to provide people with the information that has authenticity,

I guess this is because of frustrtations coming out due to long wait or somebody unfortunately got rejected and taking his frustration out this way or somebody just wanted public opinion on this issue but only God knows better.

If they did not want 0111 and 1111 then, they would not have put them in MI 1.

You cant spread negative news because that what you think... Many people struggle here to keep their hope alive, they try hard to be positive and some JERKS just make them to think negative and demoralize them because they are having negative attitudes towards life....

They can't reject the entire lot.

many many thanks for reply and comments. i mean that we are all at risk for being pre June applicants having out listed in NOC. I had mentioned above concerning accountants, finance manager and auditors. Likewise other occupations which are not listed in NOC now have been posed ever higher risk. anything can happen even whatever the status may be in ecas.

In rejection letter they have written that We are now not only considering 67 points but also the overall potentialities of applicants. Now visa officer should be fully satisfied with the applicants' documents rather than point scoring.

Thats not possible. Rejection at which stage ?

Probably someone sent an application ignoring the 29 occupation list and got this kind of reply at CIC stage. But after the PER rejection at VO is not possible due to this reason.
