Hello Guys !

I landed in Toronto on the 3rd of November 2011 with my wife and daughter only for 10 days and travelled back to my home country.
I left my uncle's address so that they can send all the documents.
After exactly 34 business days, the sent my PR card and my daughter's PR card.

Just today, they have sent a letter to my uncle informing me that the photo and signature of my wife are not according to specifications.
They also sent a form and instructions along with a telephone number so that I can fill and send back.

Now the telephone number does not respond. Is it acceptable that my uncle sends me the document by email, then I print it and send it back by DHL with the photos Huh??

Thanks a lot for your support !

Thanks dear Leon !

I thaught that would be better than applying for a travel document, I just needed to know if it is acceptable for CIC to continue processing the PR Card for my wife while we are outside Canada !

Hullo
I think you shouldnt worry . I dont know about the phone number details , but I know some one who recieved communication from CIC that photo specifications not proper and that person sent the proper photos by DHL to CIC and all went well.she was not in Canada then. CIC had even set up an appointment for her to go and have the pictures taken but she just DHLed them and she now has a PR . But about the telephone phone number issue I dont know.

Thanks dear Loggan,

What I will do is wait for the original letter and form to arrive from Canada (about 2 weeks). If not, my uncle has sent me a scan of the form, I will use it if the letter is delayed or lost.

Yes you can mail the Supplementary Identification form along with the correct photos. It took about three weeks after I mailed my forms to receive my PR cards. Best of luck.

I think the supplementary identification form MUST be submitted in original only ( green color ).
So wait for the original ,complete and send to your uncle so that he can redespatch it to authorities FROM Canada.
