Dear Nectar,
Thank you for your reply. I have already sent a case specific enquiry, but it has been 20 days and no reply yet. I sent the enquiry via the webform. Do you think I should repeat the enquiry? Is there a direct email address I can use for a case specific enquiry?
I would appreciate your help.
Beckett

Dear Nectar,
I did receive a reply today, and it is the same disappointing one thast says:

CIC is working closely to manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011.  Since we have larger inventories of applications than limits within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must process applications according to the priorities set by Parliament.  As we have a sufficient number of applications in our high priority categories, we are not in a position to process your application at this time, nor can we predict when processing on your application will resume.

Can you please tell me what it means.
Is this a standard reply that should not be taken too seriously, or does it mean that I am going to wait years before I see any movement.
I am quite upset right now.
Thanks,
Beckett
