CIC package update - AINP category

I applied for Canadian PR under the provincial nominee program (AINP). I sent my package
to Buffalo along with $550 money order around July 12th. Recently I verified that the money order was en cashed
on September 10th. However, CIC has not sent me any status on that. As per my knowledge, the next step is
medical assessment.

Does anyone have idea on the approximate time CIC takes to send the acknowledgment? Is there any email address I can email
to find out the status? I would appreciate the information!

it may take between 3 to 4 months before you get AOR (ack of receipt) and request for medical. Any missing docs will also be asked for right around that time. you will not get a response until then. you don't need to send them any reminders.

Thanks for the reply. I would be leaving to India (from US) in January for a month. CIC has not
sent me the AOR yet. I had sent the package (under PNP- AINP) on July. They have not sent me any information!

hi swa82 any news regarding  your application? we have the same boat I'm NBPNP my checked encashed sept. 10, 2010 and my application reached buffalo 1st week of july but until now I haven't received AOR/Mr Thanks

I have received my medical information in January end..
