My wife is my sponsor, she is a naturalized Canadian citizen. She passed our completed application to CIC in Missisauga last June 1, 2012 via FEDEX. Based on FEDEX tracking online, our application was already recieved but CIC had never sent any email confirmation that our application was officailly recieved by them. Is this really the case? or We have to receive a n email notification that our application was received already?
We are just worried about this matter..

do u mean, there should be a letter or email notification that they recieved our application aside from the notification of sponsorship approval later on?

how long did your wife waited for the mail about the receiving of youur application of CIC from the date the application was received?

You won't hear from CPC-M for a while. Folks that get an AOR (acknowledgement of receipt) usually get it very close in time to their sponsorship approval (anywhere from same day to a week prior). They are currently working on applications received around Feb 29th - see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp so be very happy you sent it via FedEx since it really is your only confirmation for now  |

If u include your wife email address in your application then the cic will informed your via email and you will not get that email untill cic open your file whixh is now more or less 90 days before they open. As long as you send it to proper case office and you have tracking number, uou should be fine. Just need to wait more time. |

we had passed it last June 1 just this year... and we really have to wait for the current processing time before the notification which is now 93 days i think

When we sent out app In january we never received any confirmation they got it. All we got was the sponsor approval email in april Don't worry! |

Hey rgc looks like you are new to this forum....It is 93 days for the first stage approval....And its sad that CIC will not send you any notification saying that yes we have received your application its just their way....but i would recommend you joining the thread for June applicant on this forum and that will give you an idea as right now they are working on April and May applicants randomly jumping between April and May.... here's my timeline Filed on march 21st approval on June 26th....
