Hi all,

My immigration application is in process at London VO and I'm waiting for medicals and then passport request. The process has already taken 3+ years as I applied in august 2008. Now the problem is that meanwhile we moved to UK on Tier 1 visa which is to be expired in january 2012. and before its expiration we need to apply for extension which will cost us a lot. we were hoping to get final dicision from CIC before the need to apply UK extension. but it seems the time is running out for any possibilities. so we are also working on our UK extension case and will submit it in December, if we don't get any decision from CIC untill then.

I was wondering if in this situation, can we contact CIC to request for fast processing of our case to avoid wasting money in UK processing?

if any one of you know or has experienced the same could you please suggest what we can do !

Thanks in advance

Hi, Sonea. You can try.
But my opinion is that visa office may not respond favorably to any such request. . Good luck.

Sonea, Since the VO requested you for additional documents before six months (approx), you can send a case specific enquiry to know the status. It won't again delay the process. please be noted that frequent enquiries only causing the delay.
