I am hoping you don't have an issue here. If the 6 months time from Nomination expires before you get your FBI clearance and resubmit the application, CIC may reject on that basis. I truly hope you have some buffer time.
All the best...

Reason:"We will not accept additional documents until a file number is assigned to you application. Once you receive this file number you may resubmit these documents"

Hi Guys - Just wanted to share this. Check this out...

trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/discuss/provincial-nominees/619

He is the latest to get AOR/Medicals, had submitted on 30th-Dec-2009 to CIC and that too without FBI &  PCC. I hope this is sort of good news for us.

Good Luck

Hi all,

I have sent my application to CIC on January 22, 2010 with out FBI clearance. My cashier check got en cashed  on Feb 1,2010. Later on , in march I sent my FBI report to add to the file, but they return back my FBI report saying that they could not track my file .

Anyway, its almost 3 months and I hope its time to get AOR/Medical. What do you folks think who are waiting for around 3 months? Are we gonna get AORs pretty soon??

I am in a similar situation. My Alberta nomination expires in 1 months and I just found out that I need police certificates which require 16-18 weeks from the US.

Does it make sense to submit documents to CIC w/o police certificates?

Do I have to include a letter that explains that I applied for PC and will send them later?

I am a new member. This is such a informative forum. I also sent my application without PCCs and FBI as per the suggestion from my lawyer in February.  I haven't received AOR so far, Desperately waiting for it.

We all had 6 months from nomination date to submit the application to CIC. Please don't wait until the last few weeks to find out what's required for the process to move forward. I've done this mistake in the past and learned it the difficult way: please prioritize immigration issues ahead of anything else.
