Also, let's please keep this thread as AOR Numbers and related stuff only. This was the purpose of this thread and it is getting messed up.

Appreciate your answer.

I would like to tell all the forum members that as per my findings here from my circle in US that you can get it translated from anybody who knows the language written on the certificate and further that guy needs to go and sign in front of Notary public to get that transcript notarized.

So, I am doing like this. I will update the forum in case there will any issue.

Can anybody answer me the following question;

Can I do the Translation myself and get it notarized in the Bank??

hey wassi i didnt sent my mark sheets when i filed application, but later on they requested me to send mark sheets.. so its a requirement.. u have to send notirized copy of mark sheets also with degree or diploma or whatever u qualification is.
so tranlate now and send them along wid application

Hello Wasi2000:

Try with this agency of translation. They are approved by Canadian Embassy:
http://www.wintranslation.com/services/canadianconsulate.htm
you can contact this agency and tell them your location and either they will give you the address of office close to you or will mail you certified translation.
Also when you attach the translated copy of your credential, Also attach the copy of original credential with application packet because they just don't rely and translation made by others and they also translate the credential inside consulate with thier translators to check the accuracy.

As far as I am concern, the translating needs to be for a legal translator (I think there is a license or something like that for it), and then notarized.
If you translate by yourself or ask a friend to do it for you who know if the translation was made it right.

Remember that immigration is the toughest people, and if you want to avoid to get your docs returned or denied, spend few bucks more and get it translated with a reliable company.

Delay in issuing of AOR numbers this year becos of "Possible decrease in Canadian immigration targets for 2009".
