Hello All - just trying to get a feel for how long it takes for all the China applicants to get approved:

Application submitted to Mississauga
Application forwarded to Beijing

Our dates are:
Application submitted to Missassauga:  June 2, 2011
Application Received: June 6, 2011
Sponsor Approval: July 14, 2011
Application Received at Beijing July 26, 2011

We are still waiting anxiously, if anyone else has any timelines for processing, we would love to hear them!!!!!

Sent August 18, received 19th.  Waiting still lol

In our case way too long.
Application received end of January 2011
Letter confirming my husband as a sponsor sometimes end of February 2011
VO in Beijing received application 8 March 2011
Started to process application 22 March 2011 and passport requested on 23 March 2011
CSQ received received 18 or 19 April 2011
Ecas status is in process
Medical received
It has been over 4 months since my passport is with the embassy and they have not responded to my email or case specific inquiry (I am not a Chinese citizen and here on visa which will expiry soon).

our application was received in Miss on June 30th, still waiting to hear back from them.  My husband and I are both non-Chinese living in Jiang-su province on my teaching visa and applying through Beijing. 

 @ kiki - sorry to hear its taking so long, it seems like some people through Beijing get their visas so quickly.  Where in China are you and what kind of visa do you have?

 @ che.the.spy   I'm holding a working Z visa and currently living in Henan. It is stressful I must say knowing that most people here got their PR's in less than 4 months and in our case we are still waiting...

Got approval today in Mississauga, application is on its way to beijing.

I'm an applicant of Beijing too and still waiting Beijing process time.
For your case;
Did you make any phone contact to Beijing?
Normally they didn't take time so much for this stage in China,but sometime they did.No worry so much  And then didn't you summit marriage certificate or show any strong relationships between your both with application while delivered to M ?

yes, my husband lives here with me, we submitted everything (marriage certificate, photos, etc) along with our application. I think if I don't get response by Tuesday we're calling them to ask for my passport to be returned so I can extend my Chinese visa.

So ,If you summitted those docs, impossible they doubt that your relationship.
Anyway you will know coming Tuesday something and after did calling them  if possible share to thread partners please.

How long take time for process in China?
Because on web say 4months ,but kiki-lala is waiting more than 4months.
Best way I think,you ought to make a call as fast as you can .
But don't worry too much because somewhere they do like that.

Of couse not!!!Also you can remind about your China visa status,maybe they did mistake your PP,who know!

They called me! Apparently, they didn't receive my CSQ (which I sent to them in April) and we had a confirmation from Quebec that another original was sent a long time ago. Anyway, long story short. I've been told that I will have my Permanent Visa tomorrow!!!! Yey!

Looks like it would take 4-5 months to get through Beijing office recently.We r still waiting.
