I was under the impression that all new immigrants are NOT entitled to get anything. Aren't you supposed to be able to support yourself and each dependent as that was the whole purpose of showing POFs. So you don't become a burden to the Canadian taxpayer.

From the EG72010 manual

Do you have sufficient funds?
The Government of Canada does not provide financial support to new skilled worker immigrants.
You must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family members after you arrive in Canada. The money must be available to support the costs of living for yourself and your family. The amount is an estimate of what you would require to support yourself and your family without employment or other income. You cannot borrow this money from another person.
The amount of money you need to support your family is determined by the size of your family.

Dear Gmohyuddin,

I have read more the one post of you asking the same question. Looks like you have been in canada for some time, have you still not figured it out?
