There is a site called www.sidestep.com which does a side by side comparision of major flight search engines like hotwire, expedia, orbits etc...

hi jarla!

im also bound for winnipeg, but im still waiting for my VISA. I asked for a quotation for the fare to winnipeg, and my travel agent said that the lowest fare would be from CATHAY PACIFIC. just to give u an idea, if you travel by PAL it would cost you $933 plus Php 1620 for terminal fee... if you travel by CATHAY PACIFIC, it's only $813 plus Php 1620. The reason why PAL is more costly is because it's not a connecting flight, so it's Manila-Vancouver direct. when you get to Vancouver you would be transferring to Air Canada bound for Winnipeg. (My quotation already includes fare to Air Canada). If you choose Cathay, your itinerary would be Manila-Hongkong-Vancouver-Winnipeg.
