Dear Friends,

Can any body please  share their inputs for the Best deal in Car insurance. I got my G straight away after G1 (skipped G2, thanks to qorax for that letter advice)

Here are the details

Got G1 in first trial on 2nd Feb
Got G in first trial on 12th April

Now, I have almost finalized the car as well.. 96 model toyoto corolla,

Now comes the real pain. I have inquired for my car insurance from kanetix, state farm... They all have quoted 600 pm.. they say you are a new driver in canada without any north american driving experience..

Please advise on best deals and companies.. Thanks

Since it is such an old car and getting in an accident will almost surely mean writing the car off as it won't be worth fixing you should get liability insurance only, not comprehensive. You also have a 1000 dollar deductible and do not get glass coverage. These things are not worth having in old cars. 600 dollars per month is outrageous.
