Dear LastSteps,

The delay is just becuase of processing instructions from CIC. CHC London has already mentioned to you that they will issue PR visa in Spring (April-June) 2011.

CHC London will send out PHEP by post or occasionally via an e-mail to SAP FSW applicatnts therefore I will suggest you to keep CHC London updated about your current mailing address and e-mail.

The FSW PR application can't be transferred to another CHC after issuance of medical instructions BUT exceptions are also there in extra ordinary situations such as Libya unrest etc.

CIC London began processing my application in July 2007 and I did my medicals in Oct 2010. In early March they responded to my email inquiry saying that my application was undergoing routine background checks. What timeframe am I looking at for PR Visa? 2011 or 2012?

You should get your PR visa within 2011 and I hope the timeframe for your PHEP will be within 2-3 months maximum.

I will suggest you to contact CHC London immediately because many of SAP FSW 2007/2008 applications have been put on hold recently and this batch of applications mainly includes those who are awaiting update requests/medical instructions from CHC London.

'Foss Check' mainly deals with duplicate/previous data of applicant at overseas CHCs and CBSA database.

In new GCMS, during foss checks some of the applicant's information is only available to those officials who have been requested to conduct such checks on particular information.

The foss checks in normal working patterns may lead to 3-5 working days. On the whole; it's a positive sign- means your applications is under active processing.

What is it means?
How long he will take on my application for update request or medical?

i tried to contact and send three  emails but got no response may be my representative wrote onece with add info that chc should send communiction with him, i think this may be the reason for not repl. further my mail address also dispapeard twice for two weeks each time.wht i shuld think it is +ve movement in file
