I was also one among the lucky ones to have completed my MR last november and await the PPR but it was a disaster when i was told that i have to wait till Oct 2011 for my QA interview then followed by med re do and passport.

I noticed this thread today which is purely related to my case which is as follows:

Application filed ===============>>>> Sept. 2007
First AOR ===================>>>>> Oct. 2007
Case transfered to Ottawa and docs.
requested ===================>>>>>March 2010
Docs. submitted except IELTS result=>>>>>> May 2010
IELTS submitted =================>>>> October 2010
Silence from October to June 12,2011 & got
e mail for my spouse passport which was expired June 13,2011
Got MR exactly after one month from the above date July 2011
Medical sent in July 2011 & now waiting for PPR.

Do you have any idea how many months will they take to issue PPR??

The answer for your question mainly depends on at which stage your BG checks is now. If your BG checks have not commenced yet so expect a long waiting time , but on the other time if your BG checks almost concluded then your PPR may be issued very soon (hopefuly this is the case) . Another thing , that is the QA interview . Since you are an OTTAWA pilot case , you may be called for interview as the most of the cases transferred to Ottawa (and also may be not ).

Do you have any idea about BG checks of your application ?
Does your NOC still exist on the current list of FSW on demand (the 29 NOCs)?
How many your total points scored for the application?

Oldfriend you are right... am a 2007 Ottawa transferred case file.  i was called for a QA interview and thats exactly what i've told Kur.

I sent an e mail regarding the current status of my case before one month,we are awaiting the varification result of your BG", they replied to me. My question is that BG checks includes security cum criminality checks?? As per my CAIPS notes which I ordered before ten months ir was mentioned that "PI" done.

Hopefully, QA interview will be waived and INSHALLAH I will get PPR directly.
Secondly, May I be requested to submit PCC of current country again as the old one has got expired?

I just got informed (by email) that the BG checks for my application have been concluded and I will be contacted shortly.
 
Pray for me to have MR attached with the next correspondence from VO .
 
Insha'allah  all our cases will be finalized very soon.

I sent an e mail to Ottawa office just after one month to know the latest update of my case , but they haven't replied to me.

Pray for me to hear good news (PPR) attached e mail in next correspondence from them.
