Yes, I M in Dubai. I sent my PP through DHL. I had the same confusion that U have right now n there are two school of thoughts:
First, Send ur latest PP with old one on which ur UAE visa is stamped, BUT there might be possibilty that they(CHC) may stamp the visa on ur old one;
Secondly, one of our seniormembers suggested me to send ONLY latest passports with the copy of UAE visa and explaining the same in your covering letter in order to avoid the confusion raised in the above option.
I opted the second one and did what he said to me.
My question is that when U submitted ur docs. which PP U sent to them, if old one then you had to update them with the new one and now they have ur all records.

Same here, i am in Dubai , send the pp on 1st Mar 2012 to London, Ecas changed to DECISION MADE on 14 Mar 2012, and now waiting to get the passport back.
Read in one of the post that Passportsd are sent from london to Abudhabi via aembassy courier and Abu Dhabi then dispatches, is this true ? can we follow up with CHC abudhabi and track our passport ??

send the new passport and just ignore the old one even if it has the resident attached with, it happened to me and may lawyer simply told me to send the new passport only and just update it in the chart attached, regards |

Finally got a call from Aramex, Passport are out of delivery in Dubai.
Finally after 56 months this saga has come to an final conclusion............., now so many thing to do, have to land before 18th July as Medical valid only till then...
One more chapter begins....

Congratulations!! wish you a wonderful life ahead in Canada.. You mentioned before that the VO emailed you the passport request and you didn't receive it. Why? is it wrong email address, was it dropped in the spam mail, or just you overlooked the email? and how you came to know later on about it? |

I dont know what happened with the email in Nov , but i simply never got it, it did not go to spam or anything, was checking regularly and my email box was never full ,
In end of jan i sent a case specific enquiry and that is when they again resend the email, i find it completely bemusing that they did not sent a formal letter on paper,
Surprising thing though is that they gave 45 days to submit passports in intial mail in nov, and the new email which i got in jan they again gave 45 days. Problem is that due to this all my timelines have gone for a six, Visa is only valid till mid july as this is when my medical expire , so now i have to close out every thing here in 90 days and move........, but i guess destiny has something planned for me....

Has your ecas staus changed to decision made..., this will change when your visa is stamped, if you have not send the pre paid courier envelope, then you can call aramex and check with your mobile number if you have any package pending. if you have send pre paid courier envelope then you could track it with Air way bill Number....
In may opinion there should not be any delay, you could resend the case specific enquiry to PIH section, these are the guys who print visa......best of luck
