Dear Friends

My name is Ahmed working in oman as an electrician and i am planning to apply for FSW but before applying i need to ask you guys something.i am applying with my wife and 1 kid but i heard that at initially we need to pay visa fees which is 1250$ but instead of paying this complete amount can i pay 550$ only for me now then after getting file number i will pay remaining amount for my wife and my kid ... can we do that.?

please help me if anybody can..

regards
ahmed

Dear talk2nazim,

You MUST pay the processing fee in CAD $ with your initial application for your entire family.

The processing fee for Principal Applicant   CAD $550.00

Each family member age 22 or older          CAD $ 550.00

Each family member under age 22 who is unmarried and not in a
common-law relationship                         CAD $ 150.00

I will suggest to pay the processing fee in CAD $ bank demand draft payable to Receiver General for Canada.

If your application is approved you will be asked to pay Right of Permanent Residence Fee which is CAD $ 490.00 + CAD $ 490.00 for you and your spouse but dependant children who fulfil above conditions are exempt.

Dear Nectar,

My address has disappeared today from my e-CAS webpage.

Is it a good sign? My status changed to "In process" on 1st Feb, so far haven't received MR. When should i expect MR?

Dear Man In Black,

It seems that your application is still at initial phase. The processing time may fall between 14-20 months.

Good Luck !

Dear vaibhavvd,

This is just transferring of data from CAIPS to GCMS and foss check may cause desertion of some data temporarily for 3-5 days.

It's normal.

Dear snbajwa,

You may expect PHEP in 4-6 months provided that all kind of background checks have been done on your file.

Good Luck !

This is scary Man.
What hope do people like us have (Nov2007 applicants) when some July2007 applicants are yet to receive their document update letters.
Obviously, from the look of things and the happenings at London Office, is it not time we start planning to withdraw earlier than anticipated and stop wasting our time and future, hoping and expecting miracles to happen.
