CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

These figures are from January 2012. They are the total number of non-parental (i.e. spousal and child) sponsorship cases sitting in the queue, ordered from largest backlog to smallest.

You can definitely see the link between longer processing times and backlogs in centres such as Islamabad and Singapore. Also notice that the countries that supply the majority of our immigrants, such as India and the Philippines, run large queues at any given time simply due to the volume of files that they process.

You could say that the processing time is directly correlated to the number of cases in queue.  This theory goes down the gutter however once you see that New Delhi is 2nd on the list with a 6 month wait time =).

India has it amazing, I have seen on their forum that some people get approved in 1 month once the file reaches New Delhi.

Agreed, i have also given up trying to figure out how to get this process completed faster..
It is depressing and im sure all of us stuck in this situation feel like life is at a standstill....
We can only hope that this year will be better than last year. But who knows...

I have submitted mine in Feb 2012, and have recieved an Email in Mid June, that have transffered to ISB Office

This is exactly what happend to one of my friend, he got reply from ISB with in 8 months....

My application approved and the file has been transferred to Islamabad!

Congratulations!! Well its good to know that we are going to get a letter in the mail. I filed mine on March 15th. So I hope I am too far behind you and that my approval happens as smoothly as everyone else's Inshallah!!
