CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

theshaikh...... I am sure that you already received the file# via email and they should already stated about their decision on the email that you received the file#.

I didn't receive any thing via post, but they email me the file# and their decision which I was eligible to sponsor...BTW I received both UCI and AOR at the same email and they didn't send anything to my spouse...

Hey Tofan,

The email in which I received the file# and UCI# just stated that they had received my application on Feb 27th. Thats all it said.
Now that I login to the CIC website, it says that a decision has been made and a letter has been sent out, and I should take mailing delays into account when anticipating it.
When I tried calling the Call center today, all their lines are bz and the system just hangs up on me lol

Lol, I feel the exact same thing; I get a feeling that my case is special and my wife will the PPR soon but I think its wishful thinking at this time. But I guess we need to be hoepfull; since Allah can do anything and there are always exceptions. Stay positive man and Inshallah everything will work our very soon for us all.

I am confused. like always 

when i use the File number and put my husband's name / dob information in.. it only brings up..

His name :
His Pakistani address:

and it says under that :

We received your application for permanent residence on February 2, 2012.

and when i use UCI number and put in my name / dob; it shows

My name:

My Canadian Address:
and under is shows
Sponsorship:
We received your application to sponsor on February 2, 2012.
 
We sent you a letter on May 9, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Permanent Residence
We received  application for permanent residence on February 2, 2012.

 so is it same for all the other may's sponsors?

... one of my friend applied in last dec and her husband's address is not showing up.
hmm.. any idea.. what it means to have the address ?? it wasnt there 2 weeks ago.

oh and since we all applied in 2012, i suppose that many of us will be going to pakistan in this fall/winter to meet with our spouses..

.. so travel ki achi achi deals ..sab se share karo ap log hehe

book your tickets early. Its sooo expensive in the winter. I went for $2100 in 2010 and $2200 in 2011. ;_; My mistake was that I didnt book in advance both times because my schedule was so unpredictable.

So one of my best friends just gave his wife in khi a divorce over the phone....
They had been waitin for 14 months for the sponsorship, and I guess the fights got worse. So depressing to see this happen

thats sad!!.. i feel bad for that couple..

14 months are a lot.. aur itne time k bad bhi divorce..

which months did you go though?
i went in november last year.. and it wasnt THAT expensive.. i heard anytime before nov 15 is .. not expensive..

Hey Guys,

Just got a letter in the mail today from CIC today. The letter says that i have been approved as a sponsor on June 7th and my file has been sent to CIC Isb.

I have updated the above timeline list as I have again submitted the updated forms and was recieved by CPC-M on 28th May,2012.Hopefully this time it will be alright and my file will be transfered to Isl in August,2012 Inshallah.

Guys, I am unclear as to what the process is once the proofs are requested by CIC-I
So 6-7 months after the sponsor gets approved, they will request proofs.
Once the proofs are sent, then they will request the remeds/passport? How long after you send the proofs do they request the remeds?
Once the passport is sent, how long does it take for it to come bak stamped with a VISA ?

i have to remember that.. after 6-7 months from may, i will be sending my proofs again..
