Yea I think so brother I called them on Monday They said to me you should be getting your approval letter on July 17, 2012. I know brother for sure you are right they are a  little ahead

btw are you guessing with the dates here that when ppl's files will be transfered etc... like the person in august etc...

inshallah i believe all of us 2012 ppl will have our spouses here easily before the end of 2013... mostly around this time next year we will be jumping around in excitement...

btw anyone know's pia's ongoing air fare rate for these days or sometime later on this year?

I checked for Sept-Oct-Nov.. 600-800 one way.

 i am gona call my travel agency on the weekend and find a suitable time frame to go and visit my wife... this will be an extra trip, but o well, i have already visited her twice... one more wont hurt... i dont think i will get hounded by them for extra evidence or explanation of evidence/interviews etc... what ever to make the case shorter in length and get over with faster

Bro, no idea why they took the time to send me that confirmation of receipt message, create a UCI for me and a file #, but didn't actually approve/fwd the file to ISB. Agar file khol hi li hai to ghanta laga ke approve kar ke aagay bhi rawana kar do !!
And yes, i myself dont understand the discrepancy between what is reported on the website and what is really happening....

Thanks Shaikh for you helpful response but Dost I did not understand one thing they are still working Feb 22, 2012 how come they sent you this confirmation of your application they have received even you applied on Feb 27

yar i am getting that tingly feeling too after seeing some cases move here lately... but on the flip side... this website is a small pond compared to the overall number of ppl that applied for sponsorship, are all of them on here.... are all of them getting processed just as quick as well? thats the thing that is to think about...

Small pond yes but seeing the wave of approvals and updates all at once tells us they're moving. Mailman also knows what is coming in and to who, when he del my wife's letter, he had 3 more in the same neighborhood. It's a good sign.

I found out about a guy who lives in Whitby, he got a letter from his MAYOR which he sent down to CIC ISB. His case went through in 6 months. (He applied sometime in 2011)
Ive called my mayor: Hazel Mccallion... Uss kay office walay kehtay hain, please contact the Federal Government or Canadian Immigration Dept, we cant help u....
Tried getting directly connected to her because my friend works closely with her, hes in the City of Mississauga, Finance dept. Finally got through.. when I did get in touch with her, she said she cant help because these are matters to be handled by the Federal government and that she wishes she could help, but she cant..

The mayor stated that he knew the sponsor and he was an active member of the community.
The mayor asked for an update on his application and made a personal appeal to the CIC-ISB office VO who was handling their case to expiate the process if possible because of the emotional turmoil the sponsor is facing.

I tried to get an original copy of the letter, but only got the paraphrased version because the sponsor sent the original letter and kept no copies...

I dont know what the exact 'secret recipe' of words used was, but it seemed to have gotten his wife here in record time, considering it was a mid-late 2011 application
