did anyone got approval letter from missisauga for feb files?? i submitted on feb 19th but didnt receive anythin yet

They are not sending Approval Letter for Feb Files yet bcoz they are working on Feb 7, 2012 and you applied on Feb 19 you got wait 2 to 3 more week.
Plz check CIC Website every week step 1 Assessment of Sponsor in Canada and they update this information weekly.

Hey Khilafah bro, do you have idea that why CIC is not updating Step 2 Assessment of Person Being Sponsored (applicant) Processing times for sponsorship of spouses, common-law or conjugal partners and dependent children applications processed by visa offices outside Canada? it should have been updated on April 23, 2012 and it is been even 1 month over

From the CIC guidelines the Option C Printout is "the equivalent of the last notice of assessment you would have received in respect of the most recent taxation year and will serve as a basis for the calculation of your income. This printout is issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA, formerly CCRA) and you can obtain it free of charge by calling             1 800 959-8281."  Apparently it only takes a few days for them to mail this out to you
Why are you filling up this Financial Evaluation Form IMM 1283? This form is for persons whose sponsorship application includes a dependent child of a dependent child.
To sponsor a dependent child of a dependent child, the sponsor must be able to support the persons being sponsored. This additional form will enable us to assess the financial ability of the sponsor to do so.
Is your Spouse have had already Married and have kids from their Previous Marriage?
If it does not apply to your situation then fill up Sponsorship Evaluation Form 5481

You don't need Financial Evaluation Form, in a spousal sponsorship its not applicable. "Option C" is similar to "Notice of Assessment" but a bit more detailed. You will need to call CRA and request them for your "Option C" and you will receive it within a week or so.

I am very thankful for your brief reply;actually in new document checklist IMM5287 they are asking about IMM1283;this our first marraige so we have to fill up IMM5481 instead of IMM1283.

have no idea brother but most likely it will decrease because most 2011 cases are being completed in 11- 16 months time

they will updated sooner or later it wont remain like that forever

there picking up speed with 2010 cases also

Salam Honey Well 82, You are most welcome but I gotta tell you something bcoz I don't want your application to be returned to you one more time and asking to have it sent again to Mississauga in a result it will delay your application.

The document Checklist you are on it is not accurate or up to date what you gotta do That I provide you link down there one more time as Khilafah5 attempted guiding you but you did not catch up on it for some reason.

Checklist is IMM 5491 this is the one you have to follow bcoz you are applying your spouse from outside of Canada. If you think you know better than me or other people on this forum so proceed as you wish but I don't want you to commit another mistake it will delay your application.

I sent this checklist with my documents that's why I did not get any objection letter from Mississauga and they received my application a week before than you!

in the forms there was a question that did you send money to your spouse? i chose NO, because i had no receipts and i used to send my hubby money b4 our marriage. and then later also. but i didnt show up in the forms that i help my husband sometimes financially, does chc has way to check if i ever sent my husband money to pak? what should i do?

I have a quick question for you, when I log into my Ecas it shows that a decision has been made for sponsorship application and under permanent residence application(for my wife) it was application received, I received a letter of approval date March 30 but if I click the "Application Received" tab it says

We received "Wife's name “application for permanent residence on January 5, 2012.
 
Medical results have been received.

So when do I start counting the months from Jan or March?

The day your file was transferred to Islamabad which would be end of March or start of April.
