I think they take any where from 4 weeks to 8 weeks in replying to the fax or email.  Or sometimes they just don't bother in replying.  I would suggest to fax them or email them again in a week or so.

Did you provided your contact details on the fax?  Like, your email, phone, or fax number.  If you did than they will reply you on those given information.  And if you have not than they would probably get it from your file number.

congrats to all with updates and good news..got my remed request today alhumdollilah..but!! there is a problem in Section A of the form!! my marital status writen is "Single" the immigration people wrote it so!! what do i do now? according to the detailed letter it says any errors can be reported via mail or fax and this is an error so i should mail/fax them and then they send me new letter/ section A?? pls advice..thanks

Completely agree with all you guys.
The stuff Khalifah and the other senior members are doing by creating an organic dataset is very helpful for people who are new to the sponsorship process. The color scheme is a brilliant idea, as it gives an easy color-coded, visual representation of where all the cases stand,
I laughed at the comment where the guy stated that he wants to have his name taken out of the list and put his faith in Allah SWT.
Buddy, having your name in a tracking list (which is helping other people assess current timelines) and your faith in Allah are mutually exclusive, one has NO effect on the other.... =p
If anything, you are GAINING sawabh because your presence in that list is helping create the dataset which is helping other members....

I can safely say that I learned everything about what needs to be done for sponsorship just by reading this thread and the contributions made by the guys who are going through the process. Furthermore, the tracking list gives me helpful checkpoints in time, as to when I should expect certain events to occur, in my own application process...
