i got a letter today from chc I .they request supplementery form,pcc,more proof,original marriage certificate & RPRF...they send me this letter on 22 may but i recieved today...i have 2 questions. from now how much time it will take? another i want to change my address .how much times it takes when u request for address change?

MASHAH ALLAH!!  CONGRATS!!!!!  Address change can take upto 2-3 months. but since u got supp forms n etc to send along with ur address change request letter it may take 45 days -2 months. Now it may take around 3-4 months or less depending on visa officer. INSHAH ALLAH. GUD LUCK

By the grace of ALLAH SWT i recieved my remed+ ppr.im soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy. i would like to thank every single person on this forum who helped us through out the process specially wes bhai,danny bhai and khalifah.

I JUST CHECKED MY ONLINE STATUS AND IT SEYS DECISION MADE BUT THE ADDRESS HASNT CHANGED TO MY CANADIAN ADDRESS.....THE STATUS CHANGED TODAY!!!

Finally some news! Wife received mail, asking for updated forms and more proof including communication, email, chat, phone bills  and rukhsati date.

They sent it out June5th, received June7! Nice eh? It was sent by post, not tcs.

Now I'm thinking sending reply by post as well, is that possible? Or is it a must by courrier service?

Also regarding rukhsati request, that is one absurd request they're demanding. I am not going to fulfill it, I will give them my reasons as to why I can't do it. My marriage is complete with nikah, no need to waste money.  Inshallah everything will fall in place.

Btw, the address disappearing and appearing again had a meaning. The same day they sent out the letter, same day address showed up. Aligns with other members' experiences.

That's all for now. Just bummed that no Repcc med request  @  . Happy still something showed up. We're in our 9th month. Alhamdulillah.

Well u can use eith service. post just takes longer than courier service. lucky u got the letter in 2 days by post. Thats ok..u cant fulfill all chc wishes (although it wud be nice) . just do ur best and good luck

You have to write your file number, name, date of birth in the email for them to believe its really you who's asking. Also, they are replying to emails at a very slow pace. How many months since you applied ?

Congratulations

It could take upto 3-4 months till Visa. When you send the documents requested, send them a letter informing them that you want to change your mailing address. The letter has to have the applicant's name, file number and date of birth. Give them your new address and sign the letter. So when they will review your file, they will update your address and the next correspondence will be sent to your new address.
