married- december 2010
applied to CPC- mississauga- feb 2011
Approval from CPC-M- March 2011
Current application status- received at islamabad
What is the next step people? will i get some correspondance from islamabad?
what is the AOR?

DrWaqas, AOR stands for Acknowledgement of Receipt, although they have stopped sending AOR's in Pakistan to the person being sponsored (in your case it would be your wife). The next step is unfortunately very frustrating i.e. waiting. Your wife's file is now in the initial queue for review. According to different posters on here, it took about 8-10 months for them to review the file after it was transferred to Islamabad and then check the validity of papers including medical, Pcc etc. |

Drwaqas. You can try for visit visa but statisticals odds shows that 99% they will reject the visit visa as sponsership is in process.
But you could be that 1% lucky person so no harm in trying your luck.

Dear All,
I am following sponsorship case of my 18months old daughter. File transfered to ISB office 27-Jan-2011. E-Case status is application recieved. I read in forums that generally it should be fast for young kids (dependant). Any idea how long it can take or it generally takes in such cases. Medical has already been done and filed and all supporting docs were provided with application. I wrote to CHC and they replied that the application is in queue.
Now its getting furstrating... Please, help if anyone had any infomration in this regard. My rest of the family had valid PR.

Asif Brother, please wait atleast untill 9-10 months before you hear anyupdate from them. They take it as a file not as who is in the file I mean a baby or wife/husband.
My intention is not to hurt your feelings but this is how the process is.

hmmm, Congratulation for your approval. So the next step will be they send your file to CHC-Islamabad and than CHC-Islamabad will send a letter which call AOR, and than they will let you know your timeline.but mostly its take 14 month. |
