I just looked at your initial post. Your initial review is already done, so now they are doing your background checks. Once the background checks are over, they will ask you to do re-medical. Background checks take anywhere from 45 days to 6 months depending on the history of the applicant.
hey danny can u tell me wht thing are included in initial review? |

DSH after you have submitted ur re meds still did not they ask you for ppr ?
my remed was done on 25th may. its just five days back.im not sure even if they sent it to ND or not can naybody tell me how long they t ake to send the remed to ND?? the assitant of DMP told me its going to be in TEN days.... |

Need advise here.
Got call from CHC-ISB yesterday to send a declaration of my child signed by both (husband & wife). i need to know, is it going to be on a normal paper or some affidavit kind of thing (on a 100 rupee stamp paper) attested by some govt' officer ?

hey danny can u tell me wht thing are included in initial review?
They look at your forms and review your proof of relationship in the initial review. If they need more proof they ask for more proof of relationship and communication. But if they only asked you for the forms, then it means most likely they are satisfied with your relationship and consider it genuine. They must have asked your for updated Police clearance certificate. So if they already asked for updated forms and PCC, then the next step is your background check which is being done right now. Once your background check is over, then will request Re-medical and Passport for Visa. They can request the medical first and upon reviewing your medical results, ask for your passport. OR you can get both Re-medical and Passport request together once your background checks are over. |

Usually they take a week or so, the assistant would know better when the results are dispatched and get there. So 10 days sound about right. |

Your application is currently in process and is in queue for review by an immigration officer. Medical examination letter was sent out to applicant on 28 May 2012.

Thanks If they send you the AOR closer to 12 months after the application was filed or so it means they have done the initial review. If they send you AOR after 3 months after filling the application, then it means they didn't do your initial review. |

DSH how long after they sent you RE med after u submitted the additional docs? and fresh character certificate ......i did it 20 days ago and still waiting for re med i m not sure either how long they gonna take to send me. |
