Applied in June, got AOR from CIC Mississauga in August and File transferred to CHC in September 2011
Can any one tell me whats GCM notes

they are notes that show u what is going with ur file and if ur review has been done what the Visa officer thinks about ur marriage

Yup if you even read on the official website for Canada Citizenship & Immigration it states that if you don't pay the fees then the process can be delayed by a few months. I paid both my fees right off the bat and sent it in with the paperwork from the beginning. When you pay the fees, there is supposed to be a receipt that you mail with your application, it has a receipt number on it too...I believe you have to at least pay the sponsorship fee before they transfer the files to ISB...he must be lying to you but I could be wrong.

yes we did pay the sponsorship fee, sure about that coz otherwise the file wouldnt have been in islamabad justs concerned about the RPRF...may be it wouldnt be a lost cause if we pay now?

andi would like to share my coincidenc also. my remed is issued on the date of my wedding anniversay, 26 april, which is same the date of my application filed.

         DSH after you have submitted ur re meds still did not they ask you for ppr ?

sis apko Inshsallah good news milne wali hai kyun k meri aur apki timeline almost same hai. Mujhe to request ayie thi for additional proof and plan for ruksati and Mashallah I took care of it quite well. I think apko seedha PPR hi ana hai....Also did you chk your inbox?

It means they are doing background check on the applicant. Once the background check is over, they will do the initial review on the date its assigned to have it done.

whats dat mean do the initial review on the date which date r u taking about danny u know i didnt get the request of remedical yet and dey are doing my background checks

I just looked at your initial post. Your initial review is already done, so now they are doing your background checks. Once the background checks are over, they will ask you to do re-medical. Background checks take anywhere from 45 days to 6 months depending on the history of the applicant.
