Congrats girl, MashAllah!!!! I am sooo happy for u! Just wondering how long did it take for the whole process, please let me know. OMG!!!OMG u guys!! my husband JUST received his PPR  we had submitted remed and other docs on April 3rd 2012 And finally today he received his PPR!! It says "Your Visa is ready for issuance"!!! Alhamdullilah!!!! I cant express how i feel right now!!!! Just hope Allah keeps helping us like this and he gets to be here for the birth of our first baby!! InshAllah Ameen.. Id share a funny coincidence with u people.. Me and my family flew for Canada on the same date 4 years ago  May 24th 2008 I was just discussing with my mom how its our 4 years anniversary in Canada and i was on the fone with my husband when he informed me that someone was at the door and it was the TCS guy!!! OMGGG Thanku Allah!! Thanku all for being there for me!.. i just hope now the last step is over soon too and he gets his visa in his hands!!!! Alhamdullilah!! |

Guys, need your help. Qatar Airways or PIA? PIA gets me there faster and cheaper by $100-$200... What other options are there in this price range? Last time I took PIA, wasn't thaaat baaad but so much noise!  How's Qatar airways? The stay I believe is a 6hour stay in Doha, what can I do in that time? Note: PIA from Toronto > Karachi > Toronto Qatar from Montreal > Doha > Karachi > Doha > Montreal I have Experienced various Airlines and my conclusion is ,PIA IS Best of all. They dont use old Aircraft for Toronto and New York. It's Boeing 777's and in very Good condition. Above all they save a lots of time. Non Stop and comfortable ..... |

thanku so much!!! im glad its almost over but trust me buddy it wasnt so quick.. i applied in December 2010.. these were SOME difficult months.. and being alone in first pregnancy.. going to doc's appointments on my own.. working 50+ hours every week.. wasnt all that easy after all.. but all's well that end's well.. i hope inshAllah everything settles with Aafiyat and Allah makes my wish come true .. i wish that my husband is the first one to hold our son in his arms!! Whereabouts bro? I'm in MTL too. The difference I found was around $200 but that's only online, didn't check up with a travel agent yet. You know what I might as well go QA since I'll be wasting 4-5 hours taking bus to Toronto for PIA flight anyway. What's 2 more hours in Doha..
lol, I hate that crampy bus(van whatever that is). I took that bus once to goto Toronto then the next one I just took a flight to toronto as I had light luggage. Those two flights (specially the last one) + few domestic PIA flights had me a true hater of PIA . I m in downtown, mtl (arnd guy conordia). How abt you? btw, which travel agents do you speak to? I call forum travels usually but lately i have been buying tix online. |

so people are sending CAIPES to Ottawa ?? not ISB where the file is ?? ---- Aslo do you get Caipes notes right away???
Yes the GCMS/CAIPS notes are extracted in Ottawa unless someone asks for notes from the physical file. That is when the request goes from Ottawa to Islamabad which prevents the officer to work on the file as the file is being used to copy all the notes. The GCMS/CAIPS notes are extracted on the same day or the next day when your payment is deducted from the credit card. I ordered mine on Feb 22nd and the notes I got were extracted on Feb 23rd. They keep the notes for 30 days to alter them, replace the names with the employee number codes etc etc. |
