Yes, If you would like then you can change the contact number. Your wife needs to sign a letter for change in phone number and fax it or mail it to them.

You need the original Medical A form to get Re-Med done. This form will only arrive at your wife's address in Pakistan. However, any DMP in the world can do Re-Med if you have the original Medical A form issued by CIC. Someone from Pakistan can FedEx or DHL that form to you and in the meantime you can book an appt with a DMP here. Re-med will be done and sent to Ottawa. It will be updated on the CIC system. Then CHC-I can look up the medical reports themselves from their end with the file number.

Remember, sometimes Re-med + PPR come together and in this case your wife needs to go back. Not too long, maybe just for a couple of months. A final goodbye to relatives in Pakistan.

Even though this is an option, I will never recommend this option because this delays the case and raise unnecessary suspicion.

Re-med was done on March 20, 2012 and Passport were sent on Mar 21, 2012 to Islamabad office. DMP sent medical results on April 10, 2012 that were received my CHC office in New Delhi on April 14, 2012. How long does it take to return the PPR after medicals are received at the CHC office?

Also, is there a way to complain about the DMP who conducted the medical?

Tuco - I applied last year on the basis of Nikkah ..Rukasati is completed in Jan 2012 and got letter in march 2012 for plans of ruksati n blah blah    

Hmm no signs of re-med request so far ...The last letter i got was dated Mar 13, 2012 ... It's been more than a month i haven't heard from them Let's hope for the best

red jeans if you have already sent them your rukhsati proof then InshAllah after reviewing it they will send you the passport request i think you should get your visa within 3 months time

Yes! my wife did, we sent the letter to CHC-I
no confirmation yet but they will change later
