If it was remed+ppr it will take 45 days or longer becuase medical goes to new delhi first

Hey Guys,

I submitted my app to sponsor my wife from Pakistan and got the approval for sponsorship.  However I noticed on the CHC website that they misspelled my wife's last name, so I called the call centre.  Call centre guy told me that they will take whatever name is on the passport.

So I check her passport and both her and my last names are misspelled on it.  My last name is Chatha, however on my wife's Pakistani passport they spelled my wife's last name as Chattha and my last name as Chattha as well (the extra 't').

Should I be concerned about it and ask my wife to get a new passport with corrections, or should I just wait for the Islamabad embassy?

Note that the application has been sent to CHC Islamabad.

you will have to ammend your passport and then send the amended passport to CHC Islamabad.
 im sure you dont want your wife to face any problems when she arrives in Canada and the Immigration Officer queries about the name. im sure in your application form you have your last name as Chatha, so to be on the safe side make the changes asap and submit to CHC Islamabad.

Folks, I need an emergency help/information here about Police Ceritificate from Pakistan. My wife has lived in 3 cities in interior sinds and two distircts in karachi since 18 yrs of age. In our original application we sent the PCC from the last address only..that was the one after rukhsati. Now we are preparing for Re PCC requests. We have not recieved the request but wife is coming to Canada on TRV and we wanted to do re pcc before she leaves. My question is that do we need pcc from every area she has lived ? This would be almost impossible for us to go back to the cities in interior sindh now and get pcc from each place. This could be completely impossible for us and would that mean end of our application process?

My application was filed in June 2011 and file was transferred to CHC-I on 8 Aug 2011, i received AOR yesterday 05 April 2012, along with a list of documents required like a new police certificate, proof of contact and recent communication with spouse, 15-20 Photos, supplementary information form for Pakistanis and a police certificate from UK (as i lived there for 3 years). Moreover they have asked me to e-submit IMM8, Schedule-A, IMM5669, IMM5406 and supplementary information forms. As far as i remember i have already submitted these forms, why are they asking them again? and last question how long do i have to wait from now?

hey did they specifically ask you for a PCC from UK? Or did it just say to submit PCC from all areas you lived for more than 6 months?

Salam.. can anyone tell me whats the best way to notify CHC-I about change in address? I have moved since my application was filed and I am now worried if the new address is not updated with CHC, i may not receive documents from them..so should i fax or TCS the update on the address or better do both? and do CHC let you know they have received the changed address? thanks

when u login to know ur application status there is a link blew ur past adress
change ur adress just click on it and follow the procedure

I sent back the requested docs and re police certificate on March 26th (their letter was dated Feb. 27th with 30days timeline). Has anyone received re.med request and ppr request after submitting Repcc &add doc??

Any idea how long the wait could be. 

i sent repcc and add docs on 14 march 2012 still no response
i think we get re-medica+ ppr l in june
if there is any response i will let u know

All those who got re-pcc, additional proof etc letter in March (including me) will get re-medical and PPR in May inshAllah !
