CHC-ISB uses ordinary mail or like TCS or DHL to inform about re-med / re-PCC or additional docs ?
They actually use Regular Mail which takes about 10 days. |

If you are a citizen, then your new child is a Canadian Citizen at birth, no matter where the child is born. The impact to your wife will be that she cannot get a new medical performed till the child is born, since she cannot get a Xray while pregnant.
Your new born child can get neccessary travel documents in 2-4 weeks.
If you are not a citizen, you will have to notify the High Commission, and add the new born child to your application.
Thank you for the response. I am a PR card holder and not a citizen yet. I was married in 2009 and my wife was with me in US. We had our first child in 2010. IA this will be our second child. I got PR card in 2008 (landed and went back to US) but didn't move to Canada permanently until 2010. Per CIC rules, PR can only sponsor his/her spouse if he/she is in Canada. So my wife had to go back to Pakistan when I moved to Canada in 2010, so I could sponsor her. Since she was pregnant at that time and she couldn't get her medical done, we had to wait until our beautiful daughter was born in Dec 2010. Then we had to wait for my daughter's passport. Finally, we filed in April 2011 and the file was transferred to ISB office in May 2011. My wife is now pregnant with our second baby. My question is at what stage we need to inform CIC of her pregnancy? Thank you again. |

I have good news
My husband received Re-CCP forms, Today March 2nd 2012
I am soo happy and excited my heart is pounding, after 13 n half months
Allahamdulillah i received good news from CHC
They asked for
forms to be refilled again
original police certificate
photos of before/after marriage
how be kept in connect
n original marriage certificate from Afghan Embassy
But they alreadi have my original Nikkah Nama wit them.
I pray for all of you guys that we all reunited and hear good news from CHC
