i sponsored my kids in october 2009, December 23 my file received in Islamabad, nothing after that i mean no AOR, why the process is very slow from Pakistan, one of my friend from India, we worked together he sponsor his wife after me and she is already here two months.
Why? Because India is a well known and very well advanced country, with excellent economy, and oppotunities. Pakistan is no where near in comparison with India in any way whatsoever. The only similarity between the two countries is the skin colour of the people who live in it. As you know Pakistan's reputation is now completely gone and how these political situations are getting worse day by day instead of getting better. It is the reason why these timelines have jumped from being 9 months in 2008 to 24 months now. Its sad to say but it is one bitter truth. |

Wes786, I hope I can add a bit more to this  Not just our skin colour, but a lot of our culture, language & tradition is the same. And so is the love between the two countries. Contrary to popular belief, an average Indian does not hate a Pakistani and vice versa. Of course, there are bad apples everywhere, but people who indulge in that hatred only show their ignorance. Any educated person would know that it is the politicians of the two countries who indulge in the hate game & that the common man only wants peace. Heck if that was the case, then Atif Aslam wouldnt have been hugely popular here!! I cannot speak for the rest of India, but where I stay in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, we still have a section of society who are die-hard fans of the Pakistani cricket team. Every time we have an India-Pakistan match, its us vs them & Pakistan  Its my sincere wish that the people of Pakistan find it in them to change the image of their country! And one day, it will happen |

Yep! Currently working on applications received on June 21st, 2011 every time i think there close to opening my file they increase the time i guess people on vacation so thats why there slow just want get through this first phase then otta worry after 9-12 months later |

UCI is something they have recently introduced and it stands for universal client ID so it should work for you. Just chose Client ID and type it in, your last name, your DOB, your POB and you should be able see something there... |
