I have a feeling that my husband will not be asked for a interview. Our forms were very nicely done including cover letters, pictures, everything. No age difference, I have never been in any kind of social assistance, I do work. I just hope it does not take 26 months  Cry
Wish u all the best. I will continue with my duwa.  Sad

Is your husband in Pakistan or in Afghanistan I believe your case was forward to chc Islamabad in June 2011 my wife' was in march so hope its true they started working on your case no changes on my online info.

I have another question..Can anyone tell me, in Part3: Country Specific Application under Appendix A, they ask the Sponsored Person's "Family Members" to fill the forms as well for example, Schedule A.. What exactly does FAMILY MEMBERS mean? i mean in my case i am a Canadian Citizen, applying for my wife.. So her family members need to fill these forms as well? or just her? I would appreciate if anyone can shed some light on this..

Thanks..

Hello!! Can anyone please help with this change to IMM 1344 & IMM 0008 forms? I am a Canadian Citizen and sponsoring my wife abroad. I want to know whether ME (Sponsor) n HER (Sponsored Spouse) both have to fill IMM 1344 & IMM 0008 Separately as of the new rule? I would really appreciate for the help.

Thanks!!

No! You don't have to fill out the application forms twice. Sponsors and applicants for Permanent Residence are asked to complete both the new Application to sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344) form and the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008). So what that means is that after you fill your sponsor application and your partner the permanent resident forms. You will have to send your sponsor application to the country where your partner resides. She will have to sign the sponsor application (IMM 1344 and also fill her Generic application form for Canada IMM 0008) signed and send it back to you so you can submit it to Mississauga Case processing center.

Also for nationals of Pakistan, make sure guys you send originals of all documents required by CIC in their PART 3 Information guides (GENERAL ASIA IMM 3907).

If you do follow the rules, your case will be processed quicker!

It's good that she is in pakistan. I also think they just finish off with anyone's file they want.
Some cases are from 2009. If they would finish by first come first serve based their would be no 2009 or 2010. Man ham afghanistan meram. For the frist time. Khub ast ke khudit ham beri. If u don't want them to ask u how come u did not go? etc......
