Hi Guys,
Thanks a lot for sharing helpful information. Danny/Wes, can you guys please suggest that approximately how many months CIC can take to reach the files recieved in Jan/2011, keeping the current speed and status (july/aug-2010 in progress) in prespective.
I have sponsored my newborn and waiting for application processed. Secondly, I applied a TRP as well from ISB in May/2011 but not reply as yet. Any idea how long it can take?

Well applications from Jan2010 got finalized anywhere from March - August 2011 and some are still in process. However, you said its for your new born I would say it shouldn't take more than 12-13 months. |

I worte them an email and they replied saying your request is in queue. My friend got a TRP from Riyadh in 3weeks. Any idea on SLA for TRP from ISB VO? How long it may take on TRP?
Every office works a little differently. From Islamabad we have seen it could take anywhere from 2-3 months. |

June 2011 applications, it might be a little early. Contact them after about 3 months and you should get it then. |

3 months for getting the file no? Yep because right now, CPC-Mississauga is taking 52 days for the first stage approval and then they send the file to Islamabad if approved! |

Yep because right now, CPC-Mississauga is taking 52 days for the first stage approval and then they send the file to Islamabad if approved!
the application has been approved and has been sent to Islamabad in July but i have not received any confirmation from Islamabad as yet. when will i know my file no? |

Salam to everyone,
my case transfer to CHC-I on May 10, 2011 and it has been 3 months to now but still showing the status of application received only, when it will change to "in process" ! Any ideas .

I applied last year and my status of application still shows received only. They don't always updated the e-case. Some people who applied after me have it as "In Process" and some who applied at the same time or even before me has it as application received. So there is nothing to worry about. |

LOL @ Slowestabad! They left me with no choice Its my way of a quite protest against this 24 month timeline  Allah has written the script already. The most I can do is try hard, make lots of dua and hope he makes a change in the script only if its in our benefit |

I applied (Mississauga) in June and approved in last week of July. Letter received with file number in First week of August...Bur so far dont have any E-Cas Status.. |
