You are talking about rare cases. I don't know if these type of cases exist anymore. At least I haven't heard of anyone whose case was processed in less than 12 months. AOR again is an 'Acknowledgement Of Receipt' of PR application received by Islamabad. CHC does not send the letter, or AOR, anymore. It doesn't matter whether your case is a straightforward one; you will not receive AOR. You have to reach out to CHC and ask for the acknowledgment yourself, which you do get with the file no. for PR application Smiley

I no of someone who's did last year. That is why I'm day dreaming lol
My hubby sent an email yesterday. we will wait for the reply.
Thanks a miilion  Grin

no u r not in trouble u just wait and see, too much of everything is not good same with the application processing it is wayyyyyyyy to early for u to jump into emails or caips, rest its up to u, just to let u know my first email to CHC was after 14 months of processing.

I know they hate it  Sad
But my hubby send them an email yesterday asked for AOR. I hope it goes well.  Huh

I know soo many people some cases that are done some who's still in process.
This case is also a afg case. The guy was in Islamabad. They got married in pakistan and send the application in. he was receving his letters by email and then right away forwarded it to his wife.
He says " he was never asked for a interview " nor did he got a call from the embassy.
he was here within 6 months. they did not lie. His wife is my friend. so that is the case

only 2 years of age difference. Everything question was well answered. If you don't answer them well enough the officer get's confused and asks for a interview. No gaps should be in any questions.
Using too much emotions in every question makes the officer suspicious. They did the same.
Their evedence for marriage genuine was the nika khat, engagement - wedding pictures, emails,
chats, phone bills, airline tickets, boarding passes only. But If you keep all your restaurant bills and shopping bills are good also.
Nobody of them work in immigration. The girl's income was low too. Smiley

I recently found out about another case that was done in 9 months in 2011. The priority level of that case was high because the guy had strong connections. I am pissed about it as the guy applied after me and his wife got the Visa in November. When they say that we process applications in order, its a big fat lie.
