Hi every1 i am new in this form plz can any1 help me to tell that my husband spounserd me in aug 2011 my application recevied in oct 2011. how long i have to wait now for the next step?and also i have 2 kids does it help my case to process fast?

well most people are saying it takes 12-14 months for the initial review (that's 12-14 months after it has been transferred to ISB)
It depends on whether this was ur only marriage and if you've had kids from before? If the two kids are the sponsors' kids then it should be processed faster. If otherwise, then it will take longer.

No all the case time is same .I also have Kids in pakistan and its almost a year now and I am still waiting for next phase.

Hi mahira hope your case proces faster but it depands on how you filled you case how much proves you sent them and if it is your first marriage should done but chc taking time in all cases no matter how genuine your case is, it is your luck if your case process faster, but both kids are from same husband?

is it true that CHC is closed till jan 01...should i sent my docs in this week or shall wait till 01 jan; i need some advice my medical appointment is on 2nd jan should i sent complete package altogether or should i sent the doc requested earlier ?

I think u should hand it in all together because my husband went to the courier office to send some documents to CHC-ISB on dec 23rd and he asked the guy there how long it would take for them to receive it and the guy said they won't receive it until after jan 1st due to christmas break

No all the case time is same .I also have Kids in pakistan and its almost a year now and I am still waiting for next phase.

again, a lot depends on ur situation and what u have written in ur application, not all the case timing is the same

Principal applicant is sponsored person, in your case you are the principal applicant.

yes its my first marriege i got married in 2008 and we have 2 kids now mashAllah(12or14 months) it means i probably hear from them by the end of 2012.
is there any hope to reduce the timeline in 2012?

3907E is a poorly-worded document
Regardless, I think it is pretty evident from it that Pakistanis are getting the short end of the stick.
Every single document other than the ID card and Passport are required to be originals - Ridiculous
We can also see how Rukhsati is now pretty much a must-do from the form as well.

BTW, there is a section that states: Official documentation confirming your relationship to your sponsor and both of your relationships to the other family members on your application. This may include family lists and household registries.

Now, do Pakistanis keep family lists and registries? I know this is common practice among Japanese, Koreans, and Chinese.
Second, "other family members on your application" would refer to any dependents and not other relatives mentioned (parents, etc.), correct?

I hope someone can provide some clarification here
