CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

Today it's been 12 months my file reached to islamabad .My hubby sponsored me and my 5 years old kid from canada.(mississuaga).enough proofs. i think it would be the simplest case among all  :)he has visited us on july 2011.
dec 2010 was the month when file reached there.atleast they should have sent some remed request now.
what should i do know
does any one have any suggestion
how can i urge them to expedite the process.?
what  to do where to send  request letter?

you have got a lot patience!!!!
I wonder for 12 months you did nothing...no inquiry, no email??? My application was moved to Islamabad in June,2011, and I feel so pathetic about such a long processing time..and feel impatient all the time, coz i find it so unfair and unjust.
To register my protest, I have written to the minister  at: Minister @ cic.gc.ca
I also keep on mailing to CHC,I at
islamabad-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca.

I personally think that we should at least record our protest against the unjust...

Have you ordered CAIPS/GCMS? If not then I think you should to see if your initial review is done yet?  Like philanthropist suggested try sending an email to the minister but most likely it might not help too much. It may have worked for some but not all.

Also email CHC once a month to find out the current status of your application.

this is exactly what I am talking about ....that "we" all are accepting this unfair time span for spouse visa..we do welcome good 24,26,28 who knows 30 and then 32 n so on months to get our families reunited!!!!!!....only 5 months??
i think for a spouse visa 6 months are more than enough.....yes I donot have patience...why should I have????my partner is away from me more than 15 months..I have emotional attachment in this relation and it is my prior human right to live with my partner....!!!!!

and pls note...whenever I write to the minister or something...I dont write particularly about my case..rather I talk about all Pakistani cases....so I am not looking for my personal interest...I strongly believe that protest can make some kind of impact...inshallah....

hmmm i like ur thoughts n u do this but i dont think so k isy kch hasil hoga coz ye log bht zalim hain inhe kisi ki feelngs se kia laina bt i thnk k ap try kar k dekhe may b ap qamyab hojae aur may samjh sakti hun jo ap pe guzar rahi sb ek he boat k musfir hain em too so worried abt my case k kia hoga

u will be really amazed to hear that i have done these things more than u .when it was a 6th month of my application received in isb my hubby went to mp office in canada to inquire abt case they said how can u even come to us when its just 6 months plp r waiting for years .he has written a  letter to prime minister in which he said its  a non political department he can 't approach them to expedite  ur case that would be unfair with other peoples .he has written to kenny also but it was of no use .
i check my application status on cic .gc.ca twice a day
have  sent many emails to isb & request them for an appointment but it was also of no use !
we r being given torture by them just bc we r pakistani.

What is the difference between file number and client id nnumber?. Dont they both give the same information regarding application?
