danny plz let me know who is PM and how we can contact him. Nice to know that you are still visiting the forum. It seems like Dec/Jan applicants will get their initial review done in a month or so and get request letters from Islamabad InshaAllah. PM stands for Private Message on the forum. |

Does anybody knows how long do i get a reply from Caips. I just send them by mail today after filling out the 2 iim forms and a cheque. When will get a reply from them.

Wsalam You have to email them to get your File number from Islamabad. They don't send AOR anymore by mail. Were you talking about the sponsorship approval letter by email or AOR (received by the spouse in Pakistan) ? |

30 days is the processing time after they receive your request plus mail delivery time. Next time try the electronice method to save mail delivery time (processing time is still 30 Days). See below for link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/completed.asp |

Yes we saw a first case today where someone from November received a request from CHC-Islamabad...

I was just browsing some immigration sources on Google and took me to some different immigration forums on the search but here we have more MashAllah Pakistani members comparing to others forums members. Wes is a big resource for this website as I read and follow his advise all the time. May Allah reward you for this. I sponsored my wife and I just got my file number in the email after sending 2 times email in different format to CIC Islamabad. May Allah take us easily through this process ameen.. |

The other thing.. My wife is studying in a Madressah. Do you think it will have a negative effect on our case?
Don't worry brother my wife is also going to Madrasah and memorizing Quran majeed with translation and I did not mention that in my application. As Wes said; they are on the path of Allah and Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) so it won't effect us plus Allah will help us with the process. So just ignore that part and say she is a housewife or studying if she does. |
