October walo Jin ke case khatam huchuke hain; they don't come online anymore. Lekin there have been many sept/oct cases that received PPR already!

It is only a rumor that they don't work in December, they only take off a week during Christmas and new years!

Normally the ecase shows "in process" after the file is transfered to Islamabad and they create applicants file in their system. So about a month after your file is transfered to Islamabad!

are you sure Wes Bro, because mine still says Application recieved although my file was transferred in April and i recieved my file number long time ago. I request other members also whose timeline is close to mine or in later months to share what ur ecas shows is it "in process" or application recieved". Thanks

They might have changed now, that's how it was in 2010 and earlier...

Because I have been on this website for the last two years and I know the trend. I haven't seen anybody from November 2010 receiving any request, a few October2010 AORs so far have received their PPRs.

I sent an email to Islamabad recently and i got their reply today.  My question is what does it mean when they say,

" Dear Client,
 
This is in response to your email (see below).
 
Your application is currently in process and is in queue for review by an immigration officer. Information provided has been noted.
 
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
 
Please note that we will be unable to reply to messages which do not include either the name AND date of birth of the primary applicant or the file number under which your application is being processed.

Now what, i asked them if i could send more proof of the 2 vacations my wife and I had taken and in their reply they said "information has been noted", what should i do, should i send them proof now or not? Also, when do the immigration officer start looking at the files?

its been 2 months since my file was tranferred to isb and its still showing application for pr received in july.

your timeline is very near to me....Islamabad received my application on May 27.....lol.....i'm 1 day ahead of you.....lets see who will get it done first

May 28 is my application date received

My best wishes to everyone on the forum. Just a little update from my side. I visited my wife in Sept. So as suggested by forum, I sent a package of new photos with my wife, travel documents, phone records, email and skype records since Apr 25, 2011 (date I originally applied) with a cover letter. The package was recieved in Islamabad on Friday Nov. 11.  I found all the information and suggestions here on the forum for this and I thank all of you and pray for all of you.

Also applying for wife's visitor visa. I sent all required documents from my side to my wife and she has everything ready on her side. So I think the application will be sent on Monday Nov 14. Once again, tips and suggestions from you folks here was all the expert advice I had and I have much confidence in.
