Nope, she was in Canada well before her PCC expired. I'm not sure what IMM forms are. Can you guide me in that?
Immigration forms that you filled out, they re-request it to fill them out again to get current and updated information. |

I submitted my file for family sponsorship in November 2010 and got approval only within 15 days. They transfered my file to Islambad in December 2010 and since then nothing. I do not get proper answer in the email even I also work with the Federal Government and send them email from my official mailbox. So it doesn't matter what you do, they gonna take their time and that time is too long

Right now they are in process of doing initial review on July/Aug 2010 files. You still have 3-4 more months of wait till they open your file for Initial review. |

The next step is unfortunately very sad i.e. 10-11 months of wait till they open the file for initial review. You would probably hear from them in May 2012 as they would ask you to fill out Supp forms and submit an updated PCC. |

Danny is correct! And my experience from being on this site for the last 12 months say the same thing. July/August 2010 AOR applicants here on the forum have started to receive requests for updated PCC and IMM forms finally so that means their initial reviews have started. Currently it is taking 9-12 months for initial review (file opens for the first time after getting transfered from CPC-Mississauga) and then the actual process starts, background checks, medicals need to be done again since the first one is expired then the passport request. |

Ofourse Wase & Danny PCC = Police Clearence Certificate (They require an updated PCC to ensure that the applicant didn't have any criminal activity since the last PCC was issued) IMM Forms = Immigration forms (They ask to do some of the forms again to get updated information on the person being sponsored) |
