Aoa all!

I have sent the application package to CPC mississauga in feb 2011
got approval in march from CPC
file transferred to Islamabad and recieved on 8th of april 2011..(according to E-case)

My question is wether i have to wait  a month or two  for the AOR or should I email them directly, asking for File number on my husband's behalf???

Is it 100% confirmed that they are not sending AORs anymore??? what if we need to update them abt any changes in b/w or have to correspond by any mean , without the file no...aur applicant's ID number?its hard to contact them right?

My wife's file was transfered to ISB in january..till april she didn't got any AOR letter..I emailed two weeks before to chc-isb and got the file number...you can wait for a week and then send them an email to get your file number..after you get your file number..forget about the case of 1year..they open the case after 1year.

For some reason they havn't sent AORs to anyone who applied after October/November 2010. So yeah email them to get the file number atleast. So you can use that to find out the current status of your application and also to send correspondence.

Definately very tough and depressing!!! Whats your timeline?? I applied for my wife in Jan 2010 and the case is still in process. I have made two visits to my wife in these 15 months already, now I hope that her process ends soon.

Means that CPC-M received the application to sponsor on July 11, 2010. They started processing the application on August 22, 2010 and sent the letter to sponsor about the decision and if the decision made by CPC-M was positive then they forward the file to CHC-Islamabad for permanent residence application.

after your August 23 AOR they open file after 1 year..so you should be hearing something like updated pcc or remedical in august...take a chill pill till then
