Good Day All,
For a little while I have been visiting this forum; its quite surprising and warm to see the support.

I have a question for you all, I filled for my wife in Jan 2012 and in March the file was sent to Islamabad, In February I had gone to Pakistan for my Rukhsati and honeymoon. I sent a package with recent pictures, flight information and other related documents. I got married in 2011 and was late in filling the application.

A couple of weeks a ago we found out that my mother has to go through some major surgery and there will be no one home to take care of her, if my wife was around it would have been a great deal of help since I get back from work around 6. I wish I was in a position to take a few months off to take care of my mom but unfortunately work doesn't permit me to do so. I wanted to see if there was anyway to get them to look at our file sooner on the basis of compassionate reasons?

I would really appreciate any help I could get on this.

Bhai that is realli sad to hear but CHC doesnt work that way
they have cold hearts n no one gets done early right now the most fasted case done is 13 months
n u have to wait till they send u something which willl in about 1 year or so or less.... u cant predict wat
CHC will ask or do next soo....

My file was recieved by CPC-M on 25-04-2012;today I got letter from CPC-M that I have sent them some old IMM forms which was not further accepted; I downloaded all the forms from CIC official website.They also refer me to below link for updated forms latest by 12th Feb,2012.

But on above link I could not find complete forms which is requested in document checklist.Kindly refer me the link where I can get complete and latest kit.I will be very thankful if someone know this and can help me.

Could you please tell if the letter states which forms of yours are old? I need to *re-submit* "Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669]" which is a sponsored person form and not for sponsorship evaluation. So I was wondering if I should wait for file to be transfered to CHC-I and send the updated form or should I do it right now? I also sent my application to CPC-M in April 2012. Others? what do you think I should do?

they will not transfer ur file until u provide them the new files

if otherwise they toldu guys u re submit it next when ur file was transfered

Hi khilafah,

All my forms had dates on footer "02-2012" so i guess they wont ask me to re-submit the forms. I missed answering one of the question on the form I stated and therefore asked if I should send the updated form to CPC-M rather than waiting for file to be transferred to CHC-I.

they will not transfer ur file until u provide them the new files

if otherwise they toldu guys u re submit it next when ur file was transfered

Assalam o alaikum friends,

My wife applied for my immigration in January and she has received the acknowledgement on email last week of april. I have 2 quick questions
1. how long will it take for them to send me some acknowledgement, and when will i get my UCI? [some avg timelines] I havent received any email from them yet.

2. I plan to visit my wife in Canada. Wat is the process for it, I mean should i wait to get my UCI and then apply for the visit  visa? Actually i need to see her urgently and i am currently living in dubai, Im not sure if i need to go to pakistan for the application process. Your support in this matter will be warmly welcomed.

ur wife got the UCI # and maybe file number with the approval e-mail

u (applicant) will hear from chc-islamabad within a year

u have to apply for visit visa, but if ur sponsered it will be hard to obtain and they might think u wont return to pakistan

u have to provide concrete evidence that u have property in pakistan, assests, job and u will return to pakistan

yes u have to go back to pakistan for the process

for medical and when they request for ur passport( they only will sendback ur passport back to a pakistan address)

Brother I pray that your mother get better soon.

I would suggest you to send letter to CHC and explain your situation. Also send medical proof (doctor's letter) as well. I hope that CHC-I will understand your situation. After all they are human being too.

U can try but they do fast track ur case if the spouse is in trouble otherwise no

I solo is it a wife or husband case
