I saw Mahria who applied in Oct 2011 got request for re-police check + imm forms + more proof on April 12th,2012.

I really pray for CIC to start processing November cases soon. I'll make sure when i have kids, they don't go through all of this pain and torture.

I really wish to see a CIC employee suffer like us so they know the feeling and how bad it can be for a healthy relationship.

tell me manual process how to pay the Right of permanent fee in canada
or
can i pay fee here in pakistan im being sponsered by wife living in sialkot

Hi Tabsum, Congrats on getting the RPRF letter. Sorry for replying late. I was out of town and didn't had a chance to check the forum. If your wife do not wish to pay online, she can go to TD or Soctia or RBC or CIBC bank and submit the fees. To do that she would need the specific form, which she has to order from CIC website. It is called form 5401. Even if you pay online, your wife needs to postal mail the receipt to the Mississauga office. Copy of that receipt also needs to be mailed to Isb office. This can be email, fax, or postal mail.

What I did?
Deposited RPRF in T&D Bank
Mailed a receipt to Mississauga office.(address can be found online)
Emailed copy of a receipt to Islamabad office (email address should be in the letter you received)

Received a confirmation email from Islamabad office with in 24 hours.

Hey, my husband is from the army side and I was wondering thats why i am not getting any respond from them. I heard that if your spouse family is from the army your application will be delayed...please let me know....if that is true??  I am getting worried....

I don't want to scare you as every case is different but that is true. One of my past colleague whose husband was in Indian Army, their case stretched to 2-3 years and eventually she went back to India because the whole thing was taking so long. I would advice you to talk to some immigration consultant about it.

I have been getting alot of messages regarding how to make calls to Pakistan for cheap and vice versa.

Some tips and tricks for you guys. I was not going to give this information out coz no one told me about it but what the hell

Saving your minutes when making a call to Pakistan through a calling card. (Google-Voice) Just make a gmail account and you can call USA and Canada for free unlimited. Anytime & anywhere.

Best Cheap Calling Card: BOLT (A $2.50 worth card gives me atleast 120 Minutes (2 hours) easily. The longer the call is, the more minutes you will get. This one time, I ended up with 160 Minutes as i made 3 long calls back home   @   Islamabad Land line + Mobile (Mobilink). The only disadvantage is that you will have to use the card within 1 week after its activated.

If you have a IT background, try Linux Freeswitch  @  VOIP. I have made a server here in Canada running in my apartment  and my family + wife can call me for free.

Any questions, please ask!

I will share with you guys how I call Pakistan for 1c/minute. You can use Pidipompi.com for Pakistan calling. They offer 1c/min to Pakistan. I have been using them for the past 3 months and getting 1000 mins for $10 + 2.50 (Taxes). You can add it to your home phone or cell phone in Canada, but for cell phone you have to watch your daytime minutes. I added the number pidipompi gave me to dial to make calls to my My5 (unlimited calls to 5 numbers). All you need to do is call pidipompi, they will set u up on ur home phone or cell phone and then you can make calls to Pakistan for 1c/min.
