Hi two questions:
1. does the wife needs to change her name (change last name to his husbands : in NIC and Passport) before applying for spousal immigration?
2. if it would be a while to get all police certificates (from 3 diff countries involving fingerprints etc), can I just file the application without some of the police clearance certificates and add them once file is transferred to Islamabad and after I am given my File number?

1. Not Necessary 2. Yes u can file your case without PCC and once you have the file number u can send them PCC. |

Hello, I applied for my wife in September 2010 and CIC received her file in October 15, 2010. We did receive two letters in first week of January. The first letter asked for some forms to be filled and original of marriage certificate (once again!!!!!) and in second letter, asked my wife to perform second medical exam. Since then, haven't heard anything and I don't know what would be next steps and how long would it take. May Allah give us strength against all these tortures and good luck for everyone. |

1) No, your wife doesn't need to change her last name before applying for spousal immigration 2) I would recommend sending a complete application package. As per my observation, they process a complete application package faster than an incomplete package, but ofcourse you can give it a try if you want. |

I submitted my FBI clearance after my file was transferred as FBI takes hell lot of time only to provide a clearance. So its no harm in submitting PCC after the file has been transferred but u need to mention it in a cover letter. |

Your next step is PPR. You would probably get it sometime in feburary or early march. |

They took 4 months to provide me FBI Clearance I dont know what is their current timeline |

There was my mistak. Actully if you click on person name in your skype window then take a look on right side pan you will see something like this..... Yesterday Last Week Month 6 Month and year. You can click on one of those time period to see all the Call and Chat details. |
