Assalamualaikum,
Today, I received an e-mail from CIC-M regarding, stating my spouse(wife) application is accepted and the file forwarded to Islamabad.
Now my question is, how long it will take I hear anything form CHC- Islamabad?
and why I can't check my online status with UCI #? (should I put my last name or my wife's last name?)

W.Salam, Thats good atleast your first stage is approved. Currently it is taking anywhere from 9-12 months for their first request from Islamabad so all you can do now is paitiently wait for their letter. UCI# is something new they have introced in July try it with your information first and it should show your first stage approval, and for your spouse it might not work yet because her file might not have been created yet in Islamabad. |

i think she is bluffing...imm forms are good for 1 year...and it hasn't been 1 year since her AOR...then how can CHC ask her to refill imm forms...they would send her PPR directly...
I know prayers work...but then we have to be practical as well...like in my case....even if my wife gets the visa lets say in April...she wont be arriving till July/August because its her final semester.
We don't know if its true or not. But I am going to take it as a good sign for the rest of us. I am happy for her if she did get the request. Sooner or later we will get the request as well InshaAllah. |

yakeen you muje bhi nahi aa raha..........lakin if it's true then it's a very good sign for us 2011 applicants....... i think we should wait till next month to see if more 2011 people get these requests....... |

Here how I sent an email to Islamabad and got my file number. Your name Name: Your Client ID # Dear Sir/Madam, I XYZ husband of XYZ corresponding with regards to the above mentioned applicant name and client ID number. The application was filed on XYZ ,2011, approved on XYZ, 2011 and the file was transfered to Islamabad on XYZ, 2011. As per my sponsor, I may receive a letter of acknowledgement regarding the application from your side. Till date, I have not received the letter of acknowledgement from your side. On the behlaf of XYZ (Sponsored person) should I expect to receive it in the near future. Sponsored Person Information; Name: Date of Birth: Mailing Address: (in Pakistan) Phone Numbers: (in you file, Pakistan cellular number) Sincerely, Sponsor name Husband or Wife of Sponsored person name here. I read about one member getting a visit visa while his case was in process, don't remember their name. It is listed in Humpakwatankaylog's spreadsheet of cases. |

My file was transferred to Islamabad in June and last week wife applied for visitor visa. So I am waiting but I have read over here that 3 or 4 people did get the visa. Please check the "Visitor" under "Temporary Entry Topics" in this forum |
