agree with QD......when both husband and wife are working plus 10 hours time difference it becomes difficult to talk to each other.......and mobile phones are best options for that.........still me and my wife somehow manage to talk to each other for like 1-2 hours when it's night at my side on phone and the same time over skype when i get up in the morning........plus she has unlimited international text messages plan of Fido and she sends me SMS like anyting ......almost 50 sms per day
Ufone is the best option for cellular packages.......these days they offer 30 minutes talk time for just 10 Pak rupees

if someone wants to talk they have lots of ways to talk or contact each other but if a person doesnt wanna contact then he/she has many excuses...when theres a love and care theres always a way....i have unlimited sms package as well and i used to send him text msgs all the time (even though i am busier than him, u know work in Canada is more difficult than Pakistan) but if i dont get any reply then its useless......i sent him magic jack to save his money (as he always says ohhh man its too expensive to call Canada) i think it is cheaper to call Canada than to call Pakistan....but he is not using magicjack as he has no time....aon top of that he text me just to tell me that he is going for outing, dinner anetc with friend or family...okkkkkkkkkkkk fineeeeeeee u dont have time to call m e but u got lots of time for all this......this makes me crazy....
shadi is not a game..its a v serious relation but khair......sorry to discuss my personal issues here...this forum is just for immigration enquiries but whenever i read someone talks abt proofs then i just think ok is my application gonna accept or reject

Sabii, tuco, QD.. i use smsmarkaz to send sms to mobile phone in pak as I don't have international sms on my package. Plus it easier in a way because when I am working, I can just go online and keep in contact. Time difference permitting.
As far as I know, you can have walima multiple times..   Some people have reception in Pakistan and when the wife gets here, they have another one here.. like have a gathering for close friends and family so everyone in the society and family relatives know that you are married.

For me, it was a small gathering after the nikah and we plan to have an official one after the rukhsati, Inshallah.

I guess even if the file is going through initial review or I get an objection letter in that time, there is no way around it... better have the whole proof collected and submitted all at once.

Salam bhai unfortunately there is no other option to save your sent sms except then keep saving PDF everytime BUT however I am planning to call them Inshallah today to discuss this option may be they can send me all my sent sms through email. Also I will ask them to send me their letter head so that I can print sms on their letter head that will look awesome and legit I will keep you posted on it lets see if I am successful in obtaining it.

secondly sunnat k lihaz se to walima ek hi baar hota hai jo k wedding night k baad hota hai but there is no set date or timeline to celebrate it mene to even kuch logon apnay baby ki 1st bday k sath apna walima kartay dekha hai lol. However beside walima you can have as many family gatherings as you like no harm in it.

Bhai I also just had nikah Inshallah nothing to worry about there will be no complications in our case Allah pak ne jo hukum dia humne mana aur Nikah kia abb raste bhi wohi banayenge thats my faith and that should ba faith of every muslim instead of being scared of CHC I will keep you posted on my case as well. Also bhai I have submitted all proof while I was submitting my file first to CHC-M and after that I am still saving all the proofs which I will submit in case if CHC send me objection letter itnay proof hain k salon ko apni nani yaad ajeygi hahah.

Sis sorry to hear all this may Allah pak make things better for everyone. If you dont mind I would like to share something which my mom just told my wiffey and that is to recite Surah Muzamil after fajar namaz also say "hooballah" (I will try to find it Arabic lang for you) 50 times aur apnay hubby ko imagine kar k phoonk dein unse baat karne se phele aisa karnay se Allah pak unka dil narm kardenge aur zyada pyar paida karenge I am sure this will help btw meri mom ne meri wife ko bhi yehi kaha tha k jab mein gussa karun yeh parh kar phunk do uske baad se meri bolti hi band hai just kidding trying to make you smile.

Which AORs are being processed at this time? Is it still Oct 2010?

Yeah thats what I would do, because currently they are still working on October 2010 and earlier AORs so there is still atleast 4 months of wait theoretically and may be once your rukhsati is done your initial process still might not be done and the time is just right to send all the proofs.

Oh my wife is loving the unlimited international text options with FIDO. she is always texting her friends and family in Pakistan and she brought her Jazz sim along we got the Roaming on so people from pakistan send her local text on her Jazz sim, and she replies back with unlimited FIDO text. FIDO bhi boley kisko dediya hai unlimited international text ka option...

wes bhai FIDO plan definitely good for bhabi as she is here with you now and don't need anymore proof for CHC but for those who are still in line (like me) I think that web option is perfect as it give you option to save both incoming and outgoing sms in PDF format. Also if someone send's you text from Pak on fido it will cost them international charges for sending sms which is not worth paying. Again its just my opinion at the end we should go with what best work for us.

Khanb5, let me know what they say to you. I contacted them a couple of times about the sms not being sent or received, they were quite slow to reply and the issue resolved itself by the end. About the letter-head, I doubt they will send you that but I think it would be better if they modified a few things on their website. Keeping outgoing SMS for unlimited amount of time, just like the incoming. They account will get disabled after 6 months inactivity anyways, i believe.. Secondly, when saving msgs as PDF, they had the SmsMarkaz Logo  watermarked lightly. That would solve the issue... just a thought. Let me what you hear...

just read your post.. well I am more or less in the same situation as yours, the only difference is that my husband is a canadian national sponsoring me and i live in pakistan, and he is currently residing in u.s . it was the same for me before, we hardly talked, maybe once a week because he was busy with work and i was busy with university, so i started to become worried as to how im going to gather proofs as its been a year since ive even seen him and on top of that we hardly talk, i just got bbm as we both got blackberries, so we are somewhat taking some time out to atleast text each other even if we dont have time to skype or call eachother, it may not improve understanding but atleast we are keeping in touch and gathering some proofs, really scared myself when it comes to gathering proofs though :/ its the time difference too thats an issue. but your not alone in in this
