Yes on 23rd January i have sent them an email asking about my update as my timeline of 9 months expired on 22nd january ................ yesterday i got a reply that my application is still IN PROCESS just the same *censored word*ing ELECTRONIC email telling me to stay calm n havwe some patience thats all but this mail showed me that it wil take atleast 2 months more till i get some news ......................... anyone with any update else

my gf is a canadian resident and we have decided to get married...only problem is i cant let my family know about this marriage LOL ...Now i dont know if this would affect my case... please let me know wat u all think... FEEL FREE TO COMMENT LOL

Well do you live in canada? if yes not really...you can go and have a court marriage....and sumbit pics of the ceremony along with your application....i think if you are getting married in canada it should be okay

  no sillly. i have already done my homework to apply in federal skilled class..... i was just wondering .. wanted to take the best possible route.

if you marry her and she does apply for you, and your parents dont know about it (are not present at the ceremony etc) immigration officer is going to make a deal out of it.its a cultural thing. they would automatically think that you are marrying her just to get to canada. prolly ask you to come for an interview. but if you can prove that its a genuine relationship then i guess youd be okay.
is she muslim? pakistani?

 @ pow_wow                                     Hmmmmm i think u shoul not take suck risk as it is a v v v v v big risk, if u r going under FSC then it would be better go 4 it caz itis v sure that IO will get the idea in ur case that u wana get in CANADA only if u will b mrrying her without ur parents consent ...................... n if they did that then no power on earth can force them to change their decision ................ n the u wont bable to apply under any categoury so better either go for FSC or mke ur parents agreeeeeeed n yes if ur GF is not of same religion n culture then it will add up ur problems .......................
