Hi Zohal, no I have not contacted my MP's yet, however I had prepared additional very strong supporting documents which I hope If they reveiw befor 9 months, it will satisfy them to process the file within a given timeline.

Since CHC-ISB is going to be close on Sep 9th-10 for EID so I will send them next week.

Your files will be 9 months this month, right? Have you went to your mp and see what stage your files are.

9 months how I wish it was that fast! It seems they r taking an avg of 12 to 14 months...or have any one of u witnessed any faster processes lately?

We have a person here Peacekeeper, his spouse has received VISA last week of August in just 9 month or bit less.

Yes some time peoples do get VISA's with in 9 month. To me presenting your case at CHC-ISB is nothing more than a case presenting in a court to conveince the judge to make a dececion in your favour on time. [This is what I did from very begining,but have to wait atleast 9 month]

If you present your case with weak info it will not only hurt the deceicion making also it will delayed the case.

Yes it is..but u can't fake can u?...u can just present the raw facts n that's what we did...They are just being paranoid they don't consider relationships with nikkah only...u have to have your ruksati done before they stamp your passport wid visa!..this isn't fair...m glad u did ur case well..then hope to hear sum good news from u soon

Insha Allah [Illah Beiznillah] My spouse will get visa soon. you r right we cannt put fake info and also they are not conveinced with Nikah, however I have done only Nikkah in 2009 yr RAMAZAN but fullfill all the necessory steps to perform the Nikah with almost 200 peoples on Iftar,and next day came back to Canada.

We will see the revoloution with the supporting doc's I am going to send them and these doc;s are prepared localy here with responsible institute.They betters accept them at CHC-ISB if not than they better shoud be ready to face the challenge from the institute's. CHEERS

Hi Loon, sound like we are friends now. Well there are many documents I have obtained and also I am going to get a letter from my company indicating my vacation time to PKSTN last year and as a courtesy I am going to request insert an extra line: Reason for lumsum vacations > "Getting Married".

Lol oh yes!friends sailing in same boat!I hope our boats r headed to their destination at a larger pace now!m waiting for my ppr...I have had problems with this nikkah only thing..only after rukstki is that they behaved their selves n asked for updated pcc n re med...however my nikkah was a grand event too..all the reasons for you to be cautious!go load them with many evidences so that they wont be able to delay ur case :)wish u luck!

Dear Brother, No one gets visa now within 9 months... for proof just call the Canadian High Comission in Pakistan 051-2086000 and press 7 for Administration.  Then ask them about the spouse sponsorship timeline...... They will tell you that no case is getting processed in 9 months our minimum time is now 12-14 months but it may take upto 16 months... When i asked why you have mentioned on the AOR that average time is 9 months then they say we have old printouts of AOR's and we are using them. Best of Luck to all

I am also big time upset with our local pakistani directly or indirectly political's leader. including big OLMA for various islamic centers and big business/industry owners [including PKSTNI immigration lawyers]and on top of that local pakistani media [radio "Moin Jamal - Arshad Bhati and some TV show on weekend].They never stand up for the community upfront at Governtment to express the community problems or atleast I have never seen any such thing.

Solution For:

Politics Leader's > Instead of attending & perforimng the grand opening for a restuarent and making proud on your name as a leader and unfortunatly same backhome thinking to becom a famous personality [curruption not allowed in Canada];INFACT listen community problems,analys them with other leader and present the case to your appropriate party leader.

BIG ISLAMIC CENTER OLMA'S KARAM > I understand that the main duties are to perform the jamat & teaching Quran;BUT when there are large amount of muslims peoples as a community in a country THEY should analys the community problem from religious point of view togather and present the ISLAMIC solution to the goverentment [Incase of sponsership why dont they just explain to Governtment that muslims are not allowed to leave seprate for this much no..... of day with out wife permission/intention.otherwise Govt should compensate 50% for travel ticket to visit husband/wifes evey six month.  

BUSINESS/INDUSTRY OWNERS & IMMIGRATION FIRMS > Instead of spending your day & night in making $ and thinking 1MILN to 2 MILN whereas it is for sure known everything will be taken out upon death:INFACT take some time out as a PKSTNI BUSINESS ASSOCIATION and write a letter to governtment saying that being in business you are contributing in canada economy,creating job,and filling tax.Our community is facing this problem and we need solution.This is the khair which you will be rewarded at the day of judgment not your $$.

FOR MEDIA > Media play a big role in these days, unfortunatly our radio media representative ARSHAD BHATI & MOIN JAMAL have no time other than to advertise grand opening of a restaurent and real estate [Further Moin Jamal come's up with music idea] to earn commision on the ad's.
INFACT they should reserve 1 day for public, choose any given topic and open the line for public to listen public problem/opinion/advice on that choosen topic.

I slought Punjabi sikh community who's leaders from above catagories support each others and as a community they put influance on governtment to have their problems solved.

Hello, Posting again after long time.. I submitted my case to CPC-M on Nov 12th; and its going to be total 10months now since I sponsored my Husband... just recieved AOR and after tht no interaction with CHC- ISlamabad... Anyways varies case to case..

but wanted to make it clear and share here tht I know my family friends sponsor his wife and she got her visa within 9 months avg time frame and she was here in Canada in total of 10months of sponsorship case.. She recently arrived here on 10th of Aug...

Now if u say tht no one is getting visa in 9 months avg wait time.. or if embassy says tht its just we had already printed AORs and they have been mailing those old printed AORs thts totally unbelievable may be they are making u fool..

So plz dont be disappointed and keep working on ur case... I'll share, if i hear something from embassy Inshallah..

Well i just wrote what embassy people told me... My wife has sponsored me from Canada and i just got email from embassy that file is under rountine background check....btw i think for husband cases they are taking more time.... my processing started end of october 2009 and i am also waiting from 10 months:)
