Nov 2009 - We mailed them we didnt live together since rukhsati wasnt done and its planned for march
Dec 2009 - They asked to submit rukhsati AND honeymoon pictures
Mar 2010 - We submitted Rukhsati and Honeymoon pictures
Jul 6th 2010 - They asked to submit updated police certificates
July 9th 2010 - we submitted
July 12th 2010 - we received a letter to get my medical done again
July 26th 2010 - Got my medical done
July 28th 2010 - they sent letter that if i had done my medical i should send passport as visa seems to be ready for Issuance.
August 31st 2010 - VISA STAMPEDD!!!! Cheesy:D (ALHAMDOLILLAH!)

wow your time line is also about to to hit 1 years so u shud be hearing good news soon too.
For me ISB started processing on 21st June so long wait for me

congrats Sana.... Did you get the passports back or did they call you ....My wife did her remed on 28 july and sent her passport on 29 july.so i guess we have almost similer timelines. Kindly let me know....Thanx and congratulations once again.

And I got my passport back in email.. no calls! Smiley Your timelines seems very much like mine .. so keep fingers crossed

Hello All,

I am new in this forum, my wife has sponsored me from Canada and the case processing started in October 2009... I have been constant touch with one MP and he has informed us that all processing is done just they are waiting for the background check.  I got email from embassy yesterday that " Routine Background Checks" are underway, please be patient and we will contact you soon for the re-medical.

Btw i never received any request for additional documents, just in april they send me a form on which my signatures were missing.

One thing i want to ask from you guys is that, me and my wife are living together in Pakistan from last 6 months. IF they find out will it create any problem?

I am also living with my wife for last 8 months... after getting married we should be living with our spouses, we cant live apart,, why they will make any problem for this genuine cause... so dont worry,, I prefer to live with my wife more than having PR..

well i agree tht u shud live with ur spouses after getting maaried ..i was living with mine too till may....coz permenant residents r supposed to live in canada while the spouse recieve there pr....thts just the way it is... i came to canada coz my lawyer said its better to live the last few days apart or they can create issue....so i suggest both of u to move to canada when ur close to the ppr request....at time they do check whether the sponsor is in canada or not...rest is upto u
