CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2009 -2010

Alhamdulillah my wife (ek_larki) has received her passport back with visa today.  I am grateful to Allah (swt) and thankful to all the forum members who have helped my wife and I in this dreadful process.

My prayers are for those who are in this process especially 2009/2010 applicants and people who are in interview queue.  May Allah (swt) unite you with your loved one's very soon.

Timeline:

February 15, 2011--File submitted in mississauga
April 01, 2011--File transferred to Islamabad
April 19, 2011--AOR received via email
May 09, 2012-- Email inquiry by MP (CHC-I said that they would be sending ppr+remed in coming days)
June 12, 2012--Email inquiry by MP (CHC-I said that they had sent us the requests on May 16, 2012--but we didnt receive it)
June 13, 2012--my wife received call from Islamabad to confirm the address and tel#
june 25, 2012--remed + ppr received via pak post
june 27, 2012--remed done and sent with passport
july 31, 2012--email received that everything is finalized and will be sending in coming days
August 02, 2012---received passport back with visa--Alhamdulillah

btw, we never sent any proofs just told them in email that we had gone out of country for our honeymoon trips twice and they acknowledged via email and put a note in gcms. it was full wedding.

Total processing time --17.5 months from file submission to visa issued

it doesnt matter conservative MPs or Liberal
my hubby met him  in person to Liberal Mp
he said we have sent them an enquiry  on 11 july  after that we will think what to do next ..but i  think they r just taking time ....

its been 25 months  no news yet . ur file transfer islamabad  in 2011 i guess?? .. u might hear something soon ..just be patient

After 40 day i got reply from CHC-I but not satisfied me

your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time and blah blah.....

What is that mean my online status still showing application received after re-medical.

I contacted to MP too they got the information and they will answer 10 to 15 days.

Interview Experiences:

2. micmac101  (Well they asked many questions about our relationship. How long have we known each other,when did we get married. One was about the age difference me being 58 and him 40.I had converted to Islam in 2006 and had hard times. He was intoduced to me through an online friend I had known about 4yrs.
 The interviewer was impressed about my coming here to visit him several times and my husband told him i was sitting in the waiting room waiting for my husband.
We had brought more documents for them to be examined but he said they had enough already.
The interview to 2 1/2 hrs. My husband came out smiling and was told a letter would be received in the mail. Now what all this means I don't know but we hope and pray its good news coming.)
