My wife got back passport today with Visa stamped  Thanks to Almight Allah. Total Processing Time from begining to end: 16 months 3 weeks. |

Alhamdulillah my wife (ek_larki) has received her passport back with visa today. I am grateful to Allah (swt) and thankful to all the forum members who have helped my wife and I in this dreadful process.
My prayers are for those who are in this process especially 2009/2010 applicants and people who are in interview queue. May Allah (swt) unite you with your loved one's very soon.
Timeline:
February 15, 2011--File submitted in mississauga
April 01, 2011--File transferred to Islamabad
April 19, 2011--AOR received via email
May 09, 2012-- Email inquiry by MP (CHC-I said that they would be sending ppr+remed in coming days)
June 12, 2012--Email inquiry by MP (CHC-I said that they had sent us the requests on May 16, 2012--but we didnt receive it)
June 13, 2012--my wife received call from Islamabad to confirm the address and tel#
june 25, 2012--remed + ppr received via pak post
june 27, 2012--remed done and sent with passport
july 31, 2012--email received that everything is finalized and will be sending in coming days
August 02, 2012---received passport back with visa--Alhamdulillah
btw, we never sent any proofs just told them in email that we had gone out of country for our honeymoon trips twice and they acknowledged via email and put a note in gcms. it was full wedding.
Total processing time --17.5 months from file submission to visa issued

Congratulations to you and your wife Exactly the same time as my case and exactly the same mistake by CHC-Islamabad for not dispatching the Re-med and PPR when they were supposed to.. Ahhhh well.. In the end its all good now as your wife got the Visa. All the very best to both of you |

As folks know that my wife is pregnant. The re-med request is just around the corner.
My wife called Dr. Amir Iqbal in Lahore and the guy over their said to not to do a re-med until baby is delivered because of x-ray.
I have seen a case where she did re-med and doctor just asked for pregnancy certificate from her and finished the medical without x-ray.
I do not know whether they accepted that medical or not.
Any input from forumers..

you did not get medical request yet ........ i would say ........ u should update CIC regarding the situation so that they would send u medical without x-ray ......... |

I got an email which says they have posted.. u or ur wife can always call in the doctors n ask them about it u can all Robina Sattar or Dr. Wakil i think ... n from them ask wat they can do for u if u live in karachi or u can ask anyone who will do ur wifes remed |

In Lahore or Islamabad - is farther away. Yes, My wife calling the doctors and to find out. But sometimes you need to tell them what to do.  |
