I arrived safely and soundly in Edmonton at 1130 pm on July 3rd. Immigration officer was mean. But the other immigration officer was nice who did my paperwork after picking up luggage. I waited in line becoz of this dude who was u s citizen but was in trouble with law there and was not granted entry into Canada. He was Muslim, I don't know if he as Paki. Anyways I had to wait half and hour as there was only one immigration officer on duty at midnight. So the lady took 30 mins max and I was outta the airport the next day on July 4th at 12:45 am. Canada is alright. But my hubby is the best. I wish u all a safe journey too very very very soon to ur spouses Inshah Allah . Hunsani1 when r u leaving? Take care guys and thanks for your prayers and support thru those crazy depressing times. U a all the best and in my prayers. blue_angel - our timeline is very similar but you applied one month before me and got re-med one month before me - mine is also a hubby case - I asked my MP to do follow-up also - lets see what she tells me - will let you know though hmm.. arrite do lemme know ... |

Going through it for almost 3 months now. My wife's ReMed + PPR was in April. Medical results was received in early May. Since then, no visa no nothing.
There was 2 MP inquiries. MP keeps saying. "oh, wait another month". This time I said enough is enough and asked him to send CHC-I an e-mail. MP inquires do not affect you case at all.
Everything is fine on my file. Its just bad luck. You are March 2011 file transfer, you should expect something this month.
IMAGINE WAITING FOR VISA 3 MONTHS AFTER PPR. RIDICULOUS. ISN'T IT?
hmm no doubt it is! I wonder what in the world they are doing? not in sequence, not in any order.. whats with the files? i have seen people around my timeline getting their visa.. but for some reason they play around with few files and bug the hell outta them. Your case is strange.. it's a wife case.. shud have been straight forward. I hope.. we all get sum sorta gud news this week Insha'Allah! Allah makes it easier for us.. and makes the Immigration officers a little more gentle and Living creatures for once! |

Thanks so much. Ya immigration took half an hour once I was called. I had to wait in line for another half an hour. Today is kinda nice. |

lol .... I know but ............ I applied in Aug-2010 .......... I dont see you pissed off at Immigration .......... am i the only one ................. is this normal to be 23 months away from ur spouse :O .......................... I heard like some one paid 1 million rupeez through an agent and some worker in CHC ISB has got his case processed faster like 13 months........................ DID any one of u heard anything like that ......... I hope Kenny is not in worries of collecting jehez for his sisters like Pakistani cricketer Salman B........ |
